Yep, Im very excited for these. I loved Thundercats as a kid. I used to watch it everyday after school. I dont think I ever had any of the toys from back in the day though. So, I think I might buy some of these just to make up for lost time.:)

Unsure if I'm gonna get the 4" or the 6" figures
the majority of my collection is 6", but there are more figures of the 4"... Then again I'm probably just gonna get a couple and I don't have the space for the tank....

Grune The Destroyer, is a rogue Thundercat who was quite a tough character in the old cartoon. So much so that he has a club made of Thundrainium which is kryptonite to Thundercats (cept Grune).

Quite pleased to see him namedropped. Will be expecting to see him in the new cartoon.

I don't think we'll see anymore of thundercats until Comic Con in the summer, however we might see some stock art at Toyfair in a few days.

As for the figures I'd have to see them, this is after all Bandai of America who hasn't the best track record. Anyways I prefer 3" 3/4 scale, but we'll see how they compare with the 6" ones. The Cheetara they show is apparently from the 6" line but she doesn't seem that great for 6" I was sure she was the 3" 3/4 Cheetara. I really want a Snarf too but I really don't want the Thundertank.

So they're doing a "classics" line with this, also?

I'd be all over the classics line if they weren't 8", I prefer smaller scales like 3.75", heck I'd be ok with 6" but 8" is just way too big. I mean I'd only do 8" if it was a franchise I liked more, I'm a fan of Thundercats but not big enough for such big figures. I'm also starting to not like too much the 4" figures, they seem off and don't look very show accurate, they're missing paint/details and the scale isn't an excuse since I have awesome 4" Marvel figures without those problems. The 6" are based on the new show right? Maybe I'll end up going for those.

8" for the classics line is fine with me. reminds me of the old-school Thundercats toys of old!

Seriously? Today?? I saw that yesterday, and wondered to myself how long it had been around. Hooray for being early to the party for once! :D

So that video confirmed Fall as a release date, and that Mum-Ra's sword is the Sword of Plun-Darr.
