Oh man... if my nick makes any sense even after I explain it! :lol: I derived 'HorseTechie' from 'HorseTurtle', since I'm getting into all this cool technical, digital, computer related stuff too. Since this is the Technodrome, the name seemed fitting.

RPG character wise...
HorseTurtle is a mutant pond turtle who knows all things about horses, since she grew up on a farm.

HorseTechie is a digital mutant, kinda like a pokemon/digimon critter. I haven't exactly pictured what this would look like, but HorseTechie is a mutant cross mix of a horse and a turtle. :razz:

Mica is probably my oldest, most used, and most well known character. She is also my most changed and most diverse. When I became a turtle fan in 1997, I created Mica... I think... oh no! wait! Heh... my mistake.. Mica was origanally a human who could morph into a mutant turtle... in my first little "fanfic" called "Meta-Morphs". It was my own creation. A combination of TMNT and a book series called &lt;I>Animorphs&lt;/I>. *gets out old tattered notebook that should have been sacrifically burned by now for being such a cheezy story* hmm.. well I'll be darned.. The date was actually September of 1996! I was 15 :smile: There were four main chars in the story. Dag, Raph, Leon(who got changed to Josh later), and Mica. It was my first story I had ever wrote not for a class, so it was pretty bad.
Anyway, back to Mica. In her beginning, she wavered between Mika and Mica. Yes, both abstracts of Michealangelo's name. Then it was established that both her parents were Chinese (which was later changed so just her mother was. Her father was a military man stationed in Hong Kong when he met her mom), So after sounding out names, Micansana got her hard-to-say, harder-to-spell, muthah of a first name. As for her last name, Dini... well, I THOUGHT that I had made it up.. but it turns out Paul Dini is the creator of Harley Quinn (one of my fave chars now, though I disliked Batman at the time I named Mica) So maybe I saw it in the credits and it sunk into my little subliminal brain.
The summer of 1997, The turtle Mica was born. From the ashes of two of the "Meta-morphs" characters, she emerged. She took on much of Dag's personality, and took on Mica's name, parents, and lots of Mica's background story. Her first story (and my first TMNT fic), "Enter: Micansana" (http://members.aol.com/Turtle7703/fics/wips/mica/EM1.html) was created and Mica became a solid character. In "The Mica Series" (http://members.aol.com/Turtle7703/fics/wips/mica/index.html) Mica got a brother (Bryan) and her own family and personality. Thus the first and most solid incarnation of Mica was created.
I won't even get into the incarnations of the Animorphs Mica I created/morphed, but Mica evenutally came beck to the Mica presented in The Mica series. She tends to wear overalls most of the time, and she's basically me, personality wise :wink:.

To keep it simple and short, I usually just tell people it's my handle I use because you're not supposed to tell people your real name on the internet. However, I had time to write this all up (BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!) and thought ya'll might want the long version...

Hooo.. those were the days, when I just grabbed the nearest pair of jeans, a t-shirt, pulled my hair into a ponytail through the back of the ball cap, and tromped out to the horse barn.

Now I'm almost a 30-something working full time at an exec. office. And believe me... dress codes and fashion is everything here. I can't wear jeans, I can't wear shirts with print on them. It has to be dress slacks, blouses or sweaters, pantyhose, and no open toed sandals. It took me awhile to get used to, believe me.. but now it's a part of life. *sai*

I also found that I can buy cool brand-name clothes for dirt cheap in the clearance racks and outlet malls. I rarely buy anything that's not on sale.
