Factions of the Foot

I've been thinking recently about Karai and how the Foot could be portrayed in the new series and thought instead of going the 2K3 route and having her be the adopted daughter of the Shredder, how cool it would be to actually portray her as an authoritative rival like in the comics. If Saki is kept around long enough then some other opposing force other that the Turtles should come against him, and could lead into a stellar season finale later down the road.

Digressing from my intention of this topic a bit, I want to discuss the possibility of actually revealing the differing factions of the Foot and the various shades of grey they fall into. I know 2K3 did this to a degree with the Ninja Tribunal, etc. but the mysticism aspect sort of caused some of the luster to be lost on me because the different viewpoints of the Foot seem to be different in the comics.

I'll have to continue this later, my thoughts are becoming clouded and distracted.

I'd rather have Karai be a high ranking officer of the Foot rather than Saki's daughter. I'd like if there was different versions of the foot like say the early Konami videogames and their rank can be seen by their color. I doubt the foot will be robots but if they are robots I hope we at least get to see the turtles slice them and stab them! I mean the OT made them robots so they could do that but they rarely if ever actually stabbed and sliced them, for the most part they just exploded when barely hit and even then the reason to have a robot army would be to go through a bunch of foot soldiers quickly and the OT never did this, in fact Foot Soldiers didn't show up that often and when they did they showed up in just small bumbers like 2-6.

They could do it more like the comics, where the foot clan in Japan or other parts of the world wasn't really evil or criminal, just oroku saki's branch.
