I usually get WoW account breaches, big dick pills, craigslist flirts, etc.

04-16-2011, 02:40 PM
Usually enhancement pills and the occasional f**kbook invite... my older emails were constantly attacked with blizz ones before I froze them due to them spamming my contacts. Still not sure how that happened.

Probably switching to gmail or something else after this last one gets flooded with excess crap. hotmail/live's spam filter is a load of crap.

"Meet single Christians like yourself."

now this is a strange one, either it's a religious dating site, or it's a place for guys named Christian meeting the perfect one with the same name.

And Since my middle name is Christian... I wonder :P

That is so unfair, gobo! You get all the bra spam...I get all the dick enhancement related spam.

Seriously, most of my spam is for viagra, porno sites, & dating sites with a random splash of cheap divorces, pawn shop deals, & oh noes, your paypal account (which I don't even have) has been hacked, type of spam. I guess the spammers want me to know, divorce is always an option at a great price, pornos will hold me over until my dating picks up from those dating sites, and I can always pawn my stuff to hold me over in these tough times.

Spam is the worst.

It seems like lots of TV channels these days are spam, such as "get free money without having to pay anything". No wonder since around 2005 I've been more online that watching TV. But I still get my share of online spam, from Woman's Wear Daily offers to various healthcare offers, along with faux mortgage offers. I use Firefox instead of Internet Explorer since I've gotten random sites pop up on my computer without warning.

A few links to obvious porn sites and supposed ones from major financial institutions, but a surprising number of those that are just random jumbled letters both in the sender name and in the message. Needless to say I delete these things immediately.

As for real spam.... I get way to many Horneyhousewife4U emails.

I honestly forgot I had played the Nigerian Lottery! Good thing they reminded me!

I used to get e-mails like that from my sister. She would just keep sending me stupid forwards, and I just got sick of it, especially the religious stuff. I finally told her to just stop sending the religious stuff since I don't believe in it anyway. Finally, she took me off her address list so she wouldn't make that mistake again.

I keep getting alot of male-oriented spam (e.g. women wanting me to view their nude pics, and invites to sites like F**kbook and Sexy Dating). Creeps me out, considering I'm a woman, and my online profile clearly says so (do these spammers ever even read the profiles of the people they send their spam to?). I also get alot of those Nigerian money laundering identity theft scam e-mails.

Nah I think all is good, but yeah it was weird, told me my Paypal account had been compromised but I looked into it on my own by logging into Paypal and found all was well

Will likely delete my history for that from Firefox. I don't think I had history set to save any way, when I close Firefox the only thing saved is logins, search and history are automatically deleted
