I recently purchased a CD called 'Sunday music', and found this wonderful song called Lux Aurumque by Eric Whitacre. It turns out that this song was a conglomerate of 185 youtube individual submissions from 12 Countries.

It was so successful that he did a second video, this time using 1752 singers in 58 countries, also individually recorded and uploaded to YouTube between September 2010 and January 2011.

These blow my mind. I never thought of using Youtube videos for something like this... it's so hauntingly beautiful. I'm wishing I'd found out about this sooner - I woulda probably put in a submission!
