View Full Version : Absence of X-Men First Class Collectibles

Since when did movies stop coming out with *nicely crafted* accompanying toy lines? X-Men First Class did awesome at the BO, and is still doing fairly well, yet there are 0 figures out in Toys R Us, etc. supporting the movie. It's not like a 6" line wouldn't have sold. They came out with figures for the other 3 movies. If that forsaken X3 had figures, I can't for the life of me understand why X FC didn't.

First we get a crappy Thor line, then we don't even get an X-Men line. Lame.

Technically we have the First Class Cyke & Jean and Logan/Victor sets, but those are based on the comic, since, y'know, none of those characters (to my knowledge) are in the film, lol.

Official word from Hasbro was that the film was rushed through production too fast for them to get approval for what they needed. It's a complete miracle that the movie turned out to be so well-received since a lot of it was indeed rushed, from what I'd heard.

There are Fist Class Minimates, based on the film. But thats about it.

X3 was lucky getting figures, unluckily for Marvel Legends collectors the horrid X3 figures took plenty of character space in the Blob line.
