Comic Grading Advice/Storage

Hey everyone,

I have never had any of my issues professionally graded, and I have seen a few photos of fans here displaying their nicely graded comic encased in a sturdy plastic confinement. I was wondering if anybody could be so kind as to let me know where I should start in getting my comics graded professionally & encased, and how much usually is the charge? I would "just google it" but I figured I would just ask some well trusted sources here first.

Also, I'd assume even if I didn't get them professionally graded you can still purchase those nice cases - does anybody have a specific site they order those cases from that they could recommend?

For display purposes this (http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/showthread.php?t=35542) thread had some pretty good suggestions. Check out the non CGC frames as well.

For grading CGC (http://www.cgccomics.com/services/services_and_fees.asp) is what ive used. It takes around a month to get them back and the wait sucks. Ive heard rumors of a faster and cheaper alternative company that grades comics but CGC is the established norm and Ive only ever used them.

Ive never bought or seen for sale the cases on the side. I doubt you can. I would think there would be some counterfeit comic concerns if the cases were readily available on the open market. If not on display or particularly valuable bag and board were always good enough for me.
