sayings in comic

I think its cool that the comics are back. Can anyone notice sayings that are in the old comics and that are in the new ones or show. I found one "Holy Hippo Spit" A pedestrian says it in Issue 3 volume one. ANd leo says it in volume 4 issue 1

In things change...where Leonardo is talking about being in alley with their backs to the wall with the tougest street gang....well that is from the very first issue of the original TMNT. I actually read the issue on the website after watching because someone said that I would enjoy it. It was great!

Volume 1 of Mirage of course. I have read 5 issues of volume 2, and it's ok but not in the same level. I think some of the magic is lost when the TMNT are shown in color.

Yeah, but I still think that Mirage should be Black&white. It gives the dark and gritty feeling to it. It probably wont bother me in the Dreamwave comic because it's drawn like the new show.

The second volume did lose some of the magic from Volume 1.

I prefer Volume 1 too. I like the other volumes and all, but in my mind, Mirage TMNT "ended" with the culmination of City at War. Weird, I know, but I don't really "count" anything that happened after that.
