Here's where I'll share the other things I draw. Mostly Pokemon & Nicktoons. Only gonna show off the ones I'm particularly fond of.

This stuff is great but post up some original stuff too! I really dig the Mario poster.
03-07-2012, 09:31 AM
What do you mean? This work is original...
03-07-2012, 09:36 AM
I think he means artwork that isn't directly correlated or influenced by an existing series and/or product.
Like figure drawings, original characters, etc.,etc..
Very nice. I have seen that Mariokart pic so many times before.

What do you mean? This work is original...
What I mean by original is something invented/created by you. Not a Pokemon, or a Nick toon, but something fresh from your head, a monster with 8 legs and 12 arms, a banana taco, a light bulb sandwich... Hell I don't know something original!

Lots'o fun stuff here. That Mario takes the cake though. Im a sucker for classic NES.

Your "Wanted: Mario" poster is a great idea!

Might as well share a select few things here, been a while after all.
Oshare Bones, from some random anime I can't recall the name of. Done for a friend with an affinity for the character.
Some Wind Waker art.
Female leads from various Zelda titles, each drawn in the style of their respective game.
Art done for a friends album cover.
Portrait of a dear friend who passed away.
My team in Pokemon White 2, consisting of my favorites.
The Pokemon 'Blaziken' re-imagined as a comic book character or something.
The Pokemon 'Trubbish' painted realistically.
Thanks for looking.

Amazing pictures you have here!
I really like the Wind Waker one, even so I never played the Game itself.
What Programm do you use if I may ask?
12-10-2012, 02:09 PM
I draw with my Bamboo Create tablet in the program Paint Tool SAI & I do a few little touch ups (blur effects, certain lighting) in Photoshop CS5.

Really stunning work on show here powder! I love your friends album cover and the realistic Pokemon. How long does it take you on average to complete a really detailed piece?
12-10-2012, 03:57 PM
Thanks! I usually don't exceed 2 hours on a piece, but when I do it's scattered across several days, so it's hard to say... No more than 4 hours on anything, probably.
12-10-2012, 04:19 PM
Well you have amazing talent, takes me twice as long to get half that detail!

Thank you very much, Blossom.
Happy 25th Anniversary Megaman! Done for a friend. Pixelart, for a change.

Always drawing but I try to only post what I'm particularly proud of. So here's one of Rixie, a poison type gym leader from Pokemon, with her team.
01-15-2013, 04:22 PM
Gorgeous work Powder! You should def be proud. :tgrin:
Very good Powder would love it if we could see some original stuff a character or something from your head instead of Pokémon or ninja turtles.
01-16-2013, 12:49 AM
Thanks but I really have no desire to create my own characters.
01-16-2013, 01:04 AM
Your work is so awesome, I really like your take on the Zelda characters.:)
01-16-2013, 01:15 AM
Nice! I love your Pokemon pieces to bits!
Your lines look very relaxed and natural. How long have you been drawing? Specifically using a tablet?
01-16-2013, 06:36 AM
Thank you very much. I've been using a tablet for about a year and three quarters but have drawn off & on since I could hold a crayon.

Not much time for non-commission art these days but I managed to squeeze this in by working on it a little bit once a week. It's a grotesque depiction of Princess Bubblegum from Adventure Time, digitally painted.

Are you still using the Wacom Bamboo? Have you looked into going to one of the Intuos ones? Or heard about this Yiynova company? They're doing monitor tablets, kind of like the Wacom Cintiq, but for a third of the price that Wacom is peddling theirs for.
Just curious. I just ordered one of the Yiynova ones.
03-10-2013, 11:31 PM
Yeah I'm still on the same tablet. I haven't looked into anything else at all, honestly. I'm definitely intrigued by the Cintiq but I'm still learning as I go and feeling pretty comfortable with the Create for the time being. Maybe when I reach a greater level of skill I'll put some thought into stepping up my technology.
03-11-2013, 02:53 AM
Very impressive work. I like your ability to match styles depending on the source material.
03-11-2013, 06:02 AM
Great work! Love the Nintendo pieces.

What can I say that hasn't been said! Suppurb work man! You have a gift
