growing up in the 80's, i've always been a big m.u.s.c.l.e. fan. for those who don't know m.u.s.c.l.e. was a set of over 200 1-1/2" tall flesh colored rubber figures heavily inspired by american and japanese wrestling. i started out with a few and eventually ran the gambit on the MOTU world. thanks for looking and let me know your thoughts!

Lol, wow so I'm not the only one who reads NP! That's funny. I was very honored when they asked me if they could publish my stuff. They even published the DK set, Rygar, and Duke Nukem a few issues later. That's cool man that you remember my work and were admiring it. It's always a humbling and feel-good experience whenever I run into people who appreciate my work :). Thanks for the compliments man. They're even better when coming from fellow artists.

Hell yeah dude, I've been a fan of NP since I was a small child. I saw both features of your work & loved them equally.
Knowing the range you have makes me doubly sad at the fact you won't take commissions, haha.

ok, so i've had this idea for an original character for about six months now and finally put him into action figure form. i was debating between GI Joe or TMNT, but ultimatly went with GI Joe becuase he was too similar to the Rat King. let me know what you think :)

Born in West Germany in 1963 and thrown to the orphanage by his un-wanting prostitute mother. Ulrich (last name unkknown) faced rejection and solitude all of his life. He trusts no one but himself.

As soon as he was of age he moved to France and joined the French Foreign Legion where he honed his military skills. Though he was very successful as a Legionnaire, he despised having to follow the directions of others. When his tour ended, he moved to Los Angeles to test his “hunting skills” using the plentiful supply of gang members as prey. He eventually got tired of the population and moved to Death Valley. He built a house and lived amongst the high desert heat and dust. The only form of life he saw regularly were the vultures in which he grew very fond of. He began to feed them for his amusement. He’d release a single chicken from its shaded coop and watch the vultures circle until the chicken died from the hot desert sun. He appreciated the virtue of patience and dedication that the vultures expressed during their hunt. One vulture in particular would actually approach Ulrich. Not for food, but what seemed more like fascination. Ulrich built a sheltered nesting post for his new friend to fly in and out as he pleased. He also gave it a name…Sven.

Through his hardships and experiences, Ulrich has grown into a completely self reliant loathing man. He is a sick individual who seeks to destroy anything that resembles the “hope” that failed him as a child. These days he freelances as a Merc for hire. He is a favorite amongst the Cobra organization even over the infamous Dreadnoks. Whenever Cobra needs something done fast and right-they contact the Vulture.

Vulture’s weapons of choice are the sniper rifle and large survival knife he received while in the Legion. He hunts methodically, patiently, and like a vulture, he leaves nothing to be found.
