View Full Version : DonatelloFan's Collections: John Elway & TMNT

I didn't exactly know where to put this, but this seemed like the best place. Here goes!!

I'm going to put my Elway collection in one post, then my TMNT collection in another. So the top two posts of this thread will be pictures of my collections.

I've been collecting John Elway stuff since about the Summer of '96, when I was 13. Over the years, I've accumulated a lot of random crap. There's so many people that have helped with it, and of course, eBay helps a lot. I'll update this thread every now and then with new additions, but right now, here it is in it's entirety.

Sports Illustrated Covers

I'm missing 5 regular issues, and one leather bound issue.

The Sporting News

Beckett Football Price Guide

I'm only missing one front cover of the Beckett Football Price Guide, and that's the August 2004 edition, congratulating him on the Hall of Fame induction.

The two back covers are backs of Beckett Football Price Guide's. The Personality Comics is numbered on the inside, limited to 1,000 copies.

Three of these are in rough shape, but until I get better copies, they're staying put.

Yeah, it's only two, but I focus mainly on magazines, rare collectibles, and cards. I hope to have them all one day, though.

From left to right: Commodore 64 game, Factory Sealed NES Game, and Tiger Electronics game. I would love to find a sealed C64 and TE game, but so far no luck. It was hard enough getting the Complete-in-box C64 game. There's also a TE game on UK's eBay, but the box is horrid. I'll hold out for a better looking one.

I just recently bought the sealed NES game, even though I already had one, because this one has practically no flaws with the plastic, but it does have a price sticker and hang tag, but I'm fine with that. The box and plastic look awesome.

The VHS tape on the left is still factory sealed. And I got it for about $4. Great deal!! The 'JUST' figure isn't my favorite, but it's sealed.

I'm going to add the rest of my collection in a little while. I have all the pictures taken, I just have to find enough free time to upload them here.

MARINO > elway

MARINO > elway

Absolutely not!!!! Go Broncos. I am from Wyoming so I have always been a Denver fan. I am glad Elway is still affiliated with the Broncos.

Glad my modest collection could bring up such an old and polarizing discussion, especially with such strong arguments as 'Marino > Elway'. I hope I can get better conversations out of people the more pictures I put up.

MARINO > elway

You must be talking about Super Bowl rings...oh wait!

Neat collection by the way...though I'm not his biggest fan, I can appreciate his greatness.

what...no Tebow?

nice collection by the way.

Doesn't need tebow now.

What no manning?

When I first started collecting, I tried collecting all Denver Broncos, but decided on only Elway. Great decision in the long run. I have no care for Tebow or Manning, although Manning is another favorite of mine. But yeah, just Elway.

Sweet collection, I especially like the games and Starting Lineups! You need to get yourself this.

I got it from the Team Quarterback arcade game (dug it out of a dumpster like 10 years ago! lol)

Yes, yes I do. In all the times I've checked, I think I've seen one or two on eBay in the past few years. Hopefully another one will show up soon. And the fact you got it for free, that's bad-ass.

There's one on eBay right now. But it's a repo! :(

Added a couple more pictures of the collection. Thanks to all who have checked it out. I don't really have anywhere else to show it off.
