They look alright. Bubbly, I think he was refering to Mikey's Nunchuks when he whirls them.

I don't have a problem with them, but we really haven't seen enough footage of them to really say much yet.

*Examines photos thoroughly with magnify glass, and pipe in mouth* Hm, I honestly don't have a problem with them. Once we get an animated clip of Mike spinning his chucks, I'll be able to really give it a better judgment. But from looking at the pictures, I like it so far.

I think they portray speed and motion very well in a cartoonish design

I think it looks odd having 12 handles or whatever spinning. I prefer having it like they did in the 2003 and 1987 where it was a large circle with tornadoish shapes in it.

Well it is going to look different from those examples, those were animated, this is CGI. And the swirls is just how they look in motion.

It's all opinion really. I did like how it was done on 2k3 but equally like 2k12s way as well.:)

Are you just being a pest? Because obviously this thread is pretty pointless where you call twirling nunchucks in CGI cheesy. It looks like that when you twirl them in real life and besides; they always looked like that in any cartoon/comic Mikey has been in.

having one blur when the nunhcucks spins is just a lazy way of animating.

I think it's a good thing that it looks like they are going for an actual rotation animation, then just making a blur disk.

Indeed. My advice, give it a try. It may not look good to you now, but maybe when we see Mikey's Nunchuks in motion, it'll look better for you.:tcool:
