So, pl212 and I were talking and decided that we should make a thread for the non-TMNT themed part of our artwork collections. Post all of your other random sketches, commissions, and published ANYTHING in here!:)

Almost all the Mouse Guard stuff was in person, meeting David at shows and either requesting commissions, or buying from his portfolio. The Usagi stuff... a mix of commissions, portfolio pieces and art (mostly the 80s stuff) that people have sold on HA or eBay.

Chris Giarrusso, creator of G-Man
I've met Chris several times at various shows (http://www.flickr.com/photos/mayhemers/3769619646/in/set-72157621884108080), although I knew his brother first through one of the videogame forums I'm on. Nice guy, and real talented :tsmile:

Thanks :tsmile:

The 2008 commission was based upon recent discussion at that time on the Dojo regarding who Usagi should be with. It sowed the seed of an idea to let the girls themselves fight it out hah hah...

As for the CAM watercolour piece, it was auctioned in person but the museum was taking closed bids from parties not able to attend and including them. Fortunately I happened to place the highest bid of the lot. I think it went for $700, which is damn good value for a watercolour by Stan...
