I can hardly wait to see all four turtles together.
I still wish they'd do smaller desktop-sized versions of those...

They look very nice. Awe!! I knew they hooked together...and when all four are joined they make up the very famous spred from the 1st comic.

Sure there was.
"'Young Guns' was the greatest movie in history, and Emilio Estevez deserves an Oscar."
See? Easy.
Anyway, as a comic and toy collector myself, I honestly have to say that while the TMNT statues are expensive, they're nowhere near "overpriced" within their genre. Statues, busts and the like of comic book characters can range up to $250 and sometimes even higher. Imagine paying almost $500 for a life-sized replica of Mjolnir (Thor's hammer), or Captain America's shield, or a Green Lantern Power Battery complete with Power Ring.
The TMNT statues may seem pricey from an average person's standpoint, but they're very reasonably priced for the collectibles market.
Incidentally, last week at my comic shop I saw, in a glass display case, a four-foot-tall statue of Mohawk, the head evil Gremlin form "Gremlins 2." The detail on the thing was amazing, I swear it looked like an actual caged specimen. I knew better than to ask how much that damn thing costs, I just shuddered and walked away.

And notice, they are coloring each turtle differently :)
Mike has a lighter shade of green and so does his shell.

as they should, because its my understanding they've always been colored different shades of green...except in the old cartoon...but we won't get into that.
