Thought it was Shredder at first, but now that you mention it it might be one of his Elite Guards.

i honestly think that nickelodeon had a hard time deciding if the turtles should have pupils or not, because a lot of scenes show them with no pupils in the trailer. Also, is that Shredder? i'm thinking it's one of his elite guards. anyway, i think nickelodeon is throwing together a bunch of old/prototype scenes to make these trailers with the turtles having no pupils, and the scene with the foot is clearly different than the screen cap we saw at toy fair!

I'm 99% sure that is the "practice dummy" the Turtles constructed in their training dojo. If you look at past pictures of the dojo, you can see a mock up of Shredder that is clearly for the guys to practice with. Plus, if you watch the way this "shredder" moves in the trailer, it looks like it's being pushed or something along those lines, and is pretty stiff looking (basically, it's movements as it advances toward the camera doesn't look natural - to me at least).

I thought about that, but the only way I could get it bigger would be to full screen, and it would be more pixelated that way. I thought it would be better to have the normal size in better quality than a lower quality big picture.

As I told you I can't enter the Videosection on the Nick Website where the Video is in a higher Definition as the Youtube Version and the Youtube Version is bit blurry and I would like to have the Image in a Higher Quality without Blurrs.
Besides afaik there are no other ways right now to get it in this high Quality.

Thanks... I love screencaps. Nick TMNT is the kind of show where you really have to look at the screencaps to appreciate it at times because the shots and scenes move so FAST, so many great expressions and whatnot that you don't get to soak in :)

Hey guys :) I'm doing some screenshot experimenting.

So, I bought the iTunes HD season pass so I'll be getting prestine 1080p copies direct from iTunes. I'm not sure how good/bad the bitrate is on these, but hopefully it's better than "illicit rips" will be. We'll see!

I open the movies in Quicktime (because it has a frame step feature that itunes doesn't, and I can pick the exact moment I want to screencap!), then PrntScrn to copy to clipboard when it is in full screen.

I found out that on Imgur.com you can just CTRL+V on their site and it uploads the clipboard image, no need to even use photoshop! of course, this products a lossy JPG and not a PNG file which would look nicer.

What are your thoughts? My monitor is 1920x1200 and the video is 1920x1080 (approx), that is why they are letterboxed.

Awesome, good to know! I can't wait to see how good the blu-rays look! Sadly internet video has to be compressed a lot so the sizes aren't out of hand. On blu-ray they can go overkill on the quality and it looks STUNNING

So true I have a digital Blu-Ray version of TMNT (2007) check the prints in my autograph section of it. Crispy clear :D. I didn't even had to use Photoshop to clean them up a little!

apologies, on my earlier screenshots they might look SLIGHTLY washed out. This is because of Quicktime, when you use DirectX acceleration it does that... for some stupid reason. I turned it off and now the blacks are darker.
If you'd like me to re-screenshot one of the earlier ones to be darker, just ask.

Really sorry about the delay. If only I didn't have so many problems screencapping from iTunes on Mac this would be easier!

Some notes about my captures: I upgraded to imgur Pro. As a result my images are now about 30-50% larger in filesize (only for the 'original' size), but higher quality. Also, now more size options are available on each image.

I'm really sorry guys. I will work on the requests now. I've been experimenting with PS batch processing and whatnot attempting to streamline the screenshots.

Anyway I'm going to be cropping the black area around the images out now. Also here is a comparison between PNG and JPG (saved in PS at 100% quality), I was going to start uploading PNGs instead but it is really hard to tell the difference, meanwhile the filesizes are smaller on JPGs. But if anyone would like to see PNGs instead, please specify that in your request.

I don't know what the deal is but for some reason the exact pixel dimensions on the itunes videos is not the same. thsi episode is actually a few pixels wider and taller than the pilot.
