No. Can you repeat it?

Nice, I hope #10 of Mirage comes out that day too! What a double treat that would be.

My comic book store has both TMNT titles listed under my name to be held, so I'll be certain to get them by the end of next month.

How did you get your local comic store to do that for you??? I usually have to go my local comic store and hoping that they have the latest issue.

It's like this layaway system they have there, but they can only hold it for about a month or so.

Yeah the comic store closest to me does that but i haven't really looked into it that much seeing how i just found the shop. But Brodie knows about it he has his own box and they let u pic what comics u want to put in as they come.

Most comic stores have a subscription service where they'll hold all your favorite titles for you. Usually when you sign up for such a service you also get a discount. Can't go wrong with it.

Hrmm... I don't get a discount. Or promo posters.
But that doesn't matter, cause they do well holding comics for me. Even comics they *think* I might like! Which does has it's ups and downs...
...Voltron? Voltron? What makes 'em think I like Voltron comics? :P

Aren't you a Mecha-fan, HT?

Yeah... but I draw the line at Voltron. That one is like a mech version of the power rangers, before there was power rangers! :goofygri:

I'm just saying that's probably why they thought you'd like it. They saw that Mech on the cover and thought "That's one for HT".
BTW I'm a big Mecha-fan too!

Voltron - Ha! I remember watching that yonks ago. Dag-o-rama. Anyway, I'm gonna have to wait till I come back from my summer job in Oklahoma to get all my new TMNT comics. I'm having everything pre-ordered and held at the local shop here, whose owner is so cool he'll sit on my stuff for the whole 10 weeks I'm away. He did that for me last summer as well. I'll even be sending him the Previews order forms for July and August. Totally cool dude. The shop also has a club with an $15 yearly fee that gives you a 10% discount (which helps wipe out the 6% state tax) and you get the Previews free.
I just need to remember to put the money aside while I'm away. :P

Yeah... but I draw the line at Voltron. That one is like a mech version of the power rangers, before there was power rangers! :goofygri:I always thought of the PR's as a Vultron and TMNT rip-off. Actually I still do.

I just renewed my membership at my comic shop when I went there for the first time in months and bought the 5 TMNT comics I missed. It was good to sign up considering it saved me 10 bucks. The membership renewel cost that much but it already paid itself off. Mine holds comic but only for long time members because of the fact it's the only comic store around for a while and they get an insane amount of customers.

And the TMNT were a rip-off of Frank Miller's Ronin and Daredevil comics! :P
