why does the back say the soundtrack by mc HAmmer and he only has one song on it? "THis is what we do"

RaphRockz

I would guess cuz his backup singers say "this is what we do" throughout the song

Great... now I've got that song stuck in my head!

(Better than that horse song that was stuck in there, though...)

There was the same question on a quiz game that was going on on the cruise I was on last spring break! I nearly screamed out the answer, but I was abruptly elbowed by my two brothers on either side...

Hey, that's cool! I wish I could take part in a game show...I'd love to win cool prizes like that

Reminds me of the time I was at Kings Island (back when the TMNT were popular) and there was this shoot the water gun at the target to make the stuffed toy hit the bell before time was up. And I did it! I won this stuffed Mikey toy!

I don't think I've ever won a TMNT plushie. My parents bought my Don and Raph.

I looked at the local Hot Topic a couple of days ago, and they hardly have ANY TMNT stuff! And no plushies!

I want to get some of those new plushies...the ones I have are the older ones. I've always wanted a Mike plushie, but all my parents could find was Don and Raph. If...no, wait, WHEN the turtles sky rocket into mainstream once again, I'm sure there will be a host of new TMNT plushies. Don't worry, they'll reappear sooner or later.

Weeeell, the plushie toy I won wasn't like the really nice Plushies the toy stores sold. It was a little smaller, and the details on the face were much less. I also cut off his mask cause I wanted to use the fabric on something else. Stupid move... now that Mikey plush looks like kermit the frog without his mask.

*gasp*
Poor Mikey plushie! Gah, this reminds me of the whole amphibian/reptile mix up... :sweatdro:

lol. kermit the frog. the ninja turtles do look like that guy without the mask!!

Riph Raph

Kermit? Hmm... I never thought of that. I had Leo originally & ended up taking the mask off, not really sure why, tho... Fortunately, I didn't *lose* it

eBay is a great place to find the plushies! I now am proud to say that I own all four plushies *dances around happily*

E-bay's only useful when you have money...

HorseTechie

Is still useful in other ways, I realized, even ifyou can't buy. My friend clicks and saves all the pictures of the animation cels and other interesting toy pictures for future referance too.

I like surfing ebay and checking out all the weird stuff people put up. There's stuff I never knew existed!

Good point! I never thought of that.

Hey, I agree, Kali! There was this one time that I saw a green chain and lock set that had the TMNT logo all over it. It was so weird...

Riph Raph

You really can make some great picture galleries with pics from ebay... there's where I find most of mine

And I've spent waaay too much money using ebay the last couple months *sai*

Me too... :goofygri: I need to get a job this summer.

Riph Raph

I've already got a part time job... but when I decided to order Vol #2, Vol #3, the current Vol #4 & some other comics... oy! My checking account hasn't stopped yelling at me yet.

LOL! Well, I've gone action figure crazy lately, winning a lot of a MOC 1988 Donatello, Scumbag, and a Leonardo that throws pizzas. Oh, and I won a MOC TNM Venus, too. I really should stop bidding, but it's so tempting seeing those action figures at such low prices...

Riph Raph
06-04-2002, 06:22 PM
Mmm... temptation. LoL!

I'd found a lot of comics on there... despite being outbid once or twice, I still got 'em fairly cheap & the same happened with my Raph plushie... so popular

azure turtle

I hear ya...I bought 13 Archies on ebay once for only five dollars with shipping and handling! Talk about a bargain! I couldn't resist bidding...

dang! i gotta wait for 2 years before i can get a credit card account!!! i'd like to get my hands on more tmnt stuff

HorseTechie

The only thing I hate about eBay is not finding the specific thing I want (and I don't always have the time or patience to go surfing through all 12 pages of stuff). *sai*

Am I the only one here who DOESN'T want any plushies? I don't know what it is, I just don't want stuffed animals. (That said, I traveled to Italy and Malta with Hamilton, a small stuffed pig who has been with me for most of my life.)

Loolaa
06-10-2002, 12:24 PM
Mmm.. not too big on plushies, though a tmnt one would be nice.
No-one could part me from my Miffy plushie, though!

Riph Raph
06-10-2002, 02:16 PM
I'm pretty much a stuffed animal collector... they're all over my house! Literally, they're all over the place. I had to clear off part of my book shelf for my plushies. I had Leo to start, but Raph's my favorite. Then I couldn't leave out Don & Mike, so... yeah

HorseTechie
06-10-2002, 02:21 PM
Well, I think if you get to that age (like me) when you get married ansd sleep with another, you'll find that stuffed animals aren't as necessary anymore. Untill the day you have a baby comes, and then stuffed animals suddenly have a whole new meaning (I assume). ...what? I am not pregnant!

Hmm...are you sure we won't be hearing the soft pitter-patter of little horsetechies soon?

(( Edit: Oopsie! Hey, you gotta cut me some slack. I had a final today! *collapses* ))
