File is pretty large, but here it is:

I got it from the back cover of Gen13 number 8

You notice, they call it "Jim Lee's TMNT"

Oh yeah, I remember that!
I hated the Jim Lee TMNT designs.

I don't remember seeing those toys ever in person, and I totally forgot about them untill I got on this Gen13 nostalgia kick over the last couple of days.

I still wonder why they even did that? I didn't get it then, and I don't get it now. It was the later years when they were hard pressed for ideas, I guess.

Yeah I guess so, I remember when they moved TMNT to Image (im guessing Wildstorm to be specific) And them killing Don, and Leo getting a hand cut off or something like that, but I try to block all the memories I have of Image/TMNT

Jim Lee is without a doubt my favorite comic artist.. I honestly believe the man could school Jack Kirby any day.. But his TMNT designs, I just don't know what he was thinking. I'd like to see him draw the TMNT for REAL, not like that. I imagine they'd look similar to Dooney's turtles, but better.

I'd rather see Clamp's depiction of the TMNT. I love Clamp!

Yeah the weird thing about jim lee's toy wave was that they had a leonardo all ready to go, and at the last minute they cancelled it and replaced him with a battle damage savage dragon. Maybe they didn't want Leonardo to share the same sucky fate as the otehr turtles? :P

That would be funny if that was the reason!!

"God I can't believe we did this to the other Turtles.."
"WELL THEY CAN'T DO THIS TO MY LEO!!!"
*runs off with the original sculpt*

I had the Savage Dragon toy from that line. You chould change his hands, one was all snarly and bloody. I'd actually like the Raph or Donny one. Too bad they never made a Leo

Man, Savage Dragon was totally riding on the TMNT's coattails.

That's BS. The comic line lasted even after TMNT first died down. And it's cartoon lasted at least 2 seasons, and was aired for 4 years after on USA Network.

NO WAY!!! Savage Dragon had been around in comics for over ten years, still with the original artist and creator. He rocks, I have a savage Dragon/TMNT poster, it kicks! As for Jim lee you can check out his drawings at the official web site www.ninjaturtles.com his version of leo is there too. Yea so their different, but they are still turtles.

The Raph one kicks shell man, he looks great and the blades on his arms give him that extra feel of imtimidation. Plus he had a turtle com, he was my only figure I had that came with one I think (didn't get the other 2)

And didn't the She-Dragon have removable hair?

Ok, Im going to clear the air here, talking about why dragon was with the turtles, and his aledged "ride" on their coat tails. It was just after the turtles series #2 with mirage ended that the toys came out. There were no turtles comics coming out (exclueding Archie) Image company kept them alive. For almost two years, Eric Larson (the creater of Savage Dragon) carried the Turtles title, He even included Dragon in a number of issues. He was set to release his figures and since they held the title to the turtles, and Jim lee wanted to make the toys, it was included in the series. Jim Lee is a very talented artist and his drawings of the ninja turtles, all be it different were intersting. The toys themself were not as cool, I like the turtles the way they are now. So to say the Dragon got a free ride from the turtles is perposterous.

Jim Lee's take on the turtles is just like a Fan work. And saying you don't like or respect that is just like saying you hate everyone elses fan work. Or that, Say, CookSux's turtles aren't considered TMNT at all. That's stupid. Variety is always good.

i wish jim would do more drawings of the turtles
