I'm just curious here. So I was digging out my vintage TMNT figures and noticed my 1988 Leonardo's torso is somehow a brighter green than his head and limbs. I have two Leos actually, so I checked my other one and he too has a lighter green torso.

I then decided to look at other 1988 Leo figures online and noticed all the ones being sold on ebay have the same issue as well as even review sites and the TMNT figure database.

Is this a widespread issue with the 88 Leo figures or something? It's not super noticeable unless under certain lights, but it is kind of distracting.

Not sure of it, but they could be made of different kind of plastics so they react to the time in different ways.

its probably just aging of the plastic, same deal was with a wacky action Mikey I had.

the hard plastic can easily lose its intensity in color when left outdoors or too much in direct sun light
