That art looks reeeally good, too bad I've never been able to find it... :(

That book is always around whenever I check out the comic book store. I remember buying a copy acouple of years ago, and was shocked to find out it was all in black and white (this was before I got into the Mirage series). I also got one in the mail from Mirage Publishing by mistake, but I decided to keep it as a spare.

It's one of the few comic books I own.

I haven't been able to find a single old TMNT comic. The place I go to doesn't have any. Either that or I'm looking in the wrong section of their back-issue bin.

What section are you looking under?? At the comic store that I go to, the TMNT comics has its own bin for me to search through. :P The Mirage, Archie, and Image are in the same bin. In terms of all of the comics, they are alphabetized by title.

All the Mirage stuff at my comic store is in a bin marked "Independant" while the Archie comics are in the Archie bin of coarse.

I've been to comic shops that do that too. They have the Mirage and Image comics in one section, then the Archies in another section.
Who knows what they'll do when the DW comics come out! *lol*
But yeah.. keep an eye open for the movie adaption. I found both the b/w and color version of the TMNT1 adaption in back issue bins... and at comic cons.
I also own the color reprint.. not the news stand one though, the "special edition".. however I like the cover of the news stand one better :(

My comic shop is smart and just files EVERYTHING alphabetically. No separation between Marvel, DC, and other publishers.

Now that does sound like a much smarter idea. I've also been to comic book shops that did that so they had TMNT issues from both the Archie and Image series (no Mirage though)
