Hey everyone,

I don't have much finished lately, but I have a few things I've been working on.

For vintage style figures, MysteryColor is providing some of her figures that are not able to be sold in their current condition - figures with paint wear, missing add-on armor, etc - so that I can fix them up and repaint them. MysteryColor will be offering these on her ebay auctions when I've completed my work on them.

First up is Slash, made from a vintage Slash missing one of his should armor pieces and belt, etc. I resculpted his mouth to give more of a smile, sculpted spikes coming out of his shoulders like IDW Slash, added long nails on to his hands, and sculpted a new belt. I haven't painted his shell yet, but everything else is done:

Next vintage figures I'll be working on are Bebop, Rocksteady, Muckman, and Scumbug, in no particular order.

Here is a sculpt I made for a new Bebop head:

For my own collection, last night I started on a General Krang:

It's more of an amalgam of his Earth look and full robot body look. I hollowed out the chest cavity to put Krang fully inside and behind a window, but it didn't look very dynamic, so I chose to have him hanging out a little bit.

Thanks for looking,
Rob

those are all really great works. i like the addition of spikes on slash's shoulders, nice choice of colors too, the bebop head is nice, but the krang takes the cake. what did you use as the base figure? though, might i suggest instead of using a sculpted shoulder braid, that you use an actual woven braid from a craft store. i've used sculpted braids in the past and found that they always seem to break :( the woven braid is flexible and the cross use of materials adds another demension to the overall work.

cant wait to see more!

Krang's base is Major Maxim from McFarlanes Danger Girl line.

Breakage with the braid won't be an issue - it's sculpted out of Sculpey Living Doll, which cures as a flexible rubber vs most sculpting compounds that are either hard epoxies or polymers.

I should probably mention that these aren't my firsts, just my first I've posted here. I've been making customs for about 14 years now.

Not sure on that, but when I handle my own sales I like to start at either $.99 or $5

Really digging the IDW Krang -- the lil guy in his chest just looks so huggable! Sweet paintjob on Slash, too.
