Hello Everyone,

Greg here located in NorCal. Just wanted to say hello as I look forward to seeing everyone's collections on these forums.

I've always been a collector of many things, mainly items such as Modern / Pop Art (Obey Giant, etc) to even collecting some original production cel's of cartoon shows I watched as a child.

I never collected action figures before... until now. :tgrin:

Upon my recent visit home to MA for the holidays, My brother and I were determined to find our childhood toys that my parents have stored away for years in our basements storage space. My mother has always kept almost everything from my brother and sisters childhood, all neatly boxed away... however the boxes are of endless rows with not much labeling.

After about 4+ hours of searching my brother and I found what we had been searching for! Tucked away in a large container covered in a ninja turtles sleeping-bag... there they were! I found my ninja turtles that I played with as a kid. (My mom kept the original boxes for many of our old toys too :))

We also found my brothers Heman figures (also castle grey skull and some other big heman castle playset not pictured):

FYI - My brother is probably going to be selling off his Heman Figures.

We also found many other classic toys with original packaging, etc. About 20 orignal NES Nintendo games with their original boxes and instruction manuals, old school board games, tonka trucks, hotwheels, micro-machines, gijoes, etc.

So now after finding my childhood toys (the ninja turtles being my favorite). The next time I fly home to visit I am going to package the ninja turtles up and bring them to my home in CA.

The new goal / mission:
My plan is to set up my old ninja turtle toys on display in my home office. While at the same time I have made it my new mission to purchase every single original ninja turtle toy I had as a child but in their mint original packaging.

To start I just purchased these recently:
Metalhead, Casey Jones (unpunched), Foot Soldier (unpunched) - MIP

I can't wait to begin searching for every ninja turtle toys I had as a child in their original packaging. It will definitely be fun. I will post up some of the production cel's along with other items I collect in the near future.
