I think this new figure looks absolutely amazing, great sculpting and paint. But it is disgusting. I want it to just get a solid color and smoth everything with like no detail, but then it looses its awesomeness.

The solid colors and smoothness was EXACTLY WHAT I ABSOLUTELY HATED ABOUT THE 2K3 FIGURES! THEY WERE SO BORING!

They are trying to emulate the feel of the show and the figures do a nice job of that for me.

I really don't see why this is a complaint... seems like such a non-issue

These are the best TMNT figures Playmates have ever made IMO. The sculpt detailing is easily among their best (for the turtles)

I know, but why choose this one figure to go all out? It has an amazing wash and great sculpting, but its gross, but I really want it,but I don't.

yeah, that figure and the character's likeness in the cartoon was based on the winner of a 4kids contest. that was the prize - to have your likeness be used on a character in the show.
