Rough pencils for, what I suppose is the second in what is now a series (after my Turtles vs. Power Rangers piece). As much as I love and will always love the TMNT vs. MMPR piece, it's several years old at this point and I think this one is turning out much better.

I'm pretty satisfied for the moment, but it's gonna be a beast to ink. Now, the question is- Should I draw a backgroud, yes or no? And if so, what should be in the background?

A subway perhaps?

You have some serious talent there by the way! :)

Skyline would be neat, stormy supernatural looking one, for sure. You could do things with the clouds at that point, where I think a subway might be generic, or limit your options.

I like this a lot.

It's nice to have you back, man. You need to drop some stuff on us more often.

Great picture! :) I would agree with Brodie, a city skyline, maybe there's a storm overhead, or the sky's opening up to the 'other side'..

Sheeee-it. I didn't see that I'd gotten more replies here. Thanks, guys! Always happy to see familiar faces. Or, names at least.

Unfortunately, I ended up going with something more abstract for the background. I was going for something Mignola-esque. Here's the finished pic.

Really great, very well executed, now the supernatural have no chance...
