The Toybox art was very good, love the Raphael´s desperate face close up. The vehicle itself was...fair. Let´s face it, I don´t know you but when I heard the word “Shreddermobile” I had other thing in mind, for example something similar to a Technorover like this one below.

However, it wasn´t the case and I still believe that Shredder deserved so much better and it would have been a great opportunity for Playmates to make a great thing. All in all, due to the lack of bad guys vehicles in the original toyline in comparison to the Turtles force, the Shreddermobile is still a necessary addition to the Foot Clan , but only due to that reason.

This vehicle did not appear in the original Tv series maybe to avoid the fact that the Tmnt would make fun of it.

I still haven´t found a good review of the Shreddermobile on youtube only this brief video

Hope you liked and thanks for reading.

What do you think about this vehicle? Do you got it?

Any memories you wanna share from where you bought and saw it the very first time ? Were you dissapointed?

Thanks for reading.

The box artwork and the vehicle itself are not as awesome as the early vehicles like the Pizza Thrower, Party Wagon etc... well ... someday ideas run out !

I think Raph is covering his head in shame on the box.

I have this in my collection. I still like the box art from this even though it is clearly starting to get away from the vintage lines (look and feel). I do not however, like the actual toy.

I do think it is a "must have" in the collection if the turtlemobile is present.

I own a Hero Turtles version of this vehicle despite living in the US, and it's ironic when posters say "getting away from the vintage lines" since it still seems dark to me. It could be a scene from that Dimension X asteroid with the volcanic eruption, the sky, and the dead terrain making it a good background despite what others say. The seat is shaped with Shredder's helmet which is good enough, but having tiny turtles on the side of the SHREDDERmobile? Just doesn't give Chrome Dome justice.

The box art for this vehicle looked very modern for its time. Around this time, the Turtles were up against Bucky O' Hare, X-MEN, Trash Bag Bunch, James Bond Jr. stuff, Swamp Thing, and Captain Planet. The box work for the Toxic Crusaders line was the first to look modern in that era. You can tell the toy line was much closer to how it was in early '93 by looking at the packages. I think this vehicle looks pretty cool next to the Chromedrome figure. The 1990
re-issued version of Shredder (pictured above) looks nice in it too.

Funny car, perhaps Krang deliberately built that just to spite Shredder.

There's no room for Rocksteady and Bebop. I don't think even they would want to ride on that. There's no where to ride on anyway since there's nothing covering the engine.

i have one in my collection. But it has no attachments, not even the hub caps are left on the thing. but despite that i still think its a neat little piece. and its a piece that displays well even missing parts, i think i might even prefer the look of not having the canopy above the driver seat (judging by pictures i've seen).

It's good to hear that people to holding onto classic toys and not throwing them away. These vehicles were not featured on the series, but they were excellent additions. They would have gotten more press if they were in the cartoon. People instantly noticed the Turtle Blimp 2 because it was a huge improvement from the, then, dated one.

that artwork is awesome but i could never picture shredder actually driving this in the cartoon
