SPOILER SPACE...
I had forgotten that Mirage #10 was going to be such a large issue! And I gotta say I was surprised by the death. I almost got a "City At War" vibe from the issue... What with Karai there... and now the Rat King shows up for a split second in the shadows. I'm really curious where they're going with this story. The nano-battle was a bit hokey though... I could've done without the micro-ninja weapons. Other than that, I liked the issue. Can't wait for the next one!
Issue #1 of the Dreamwave series is titled "Things Change" and it goes right along with the animated episode of the same name. Very cool how they did it too... The comic details what was happening elsewhere while the TMNT were out doing what they did in the episode. Every couple pages, the comic includes a scene from the show so you know exactly where it all ties together. Nicely done. Next issue introduces April, Baxter, and Mouser madness! I wonder if each issue will go right along with the animated episodes... That would be awesome if they did!
