they have a turtle like that out, cause i own it, i jus dun remember what they call it, but for a drawing that is hella sweet
That was when Savage Dragon and the Turtles teamed up. For some odd reason, there was no Leo...I looked at the figure when I drew it btw...

I was wondering the same thing...why wasn't Leo included in the toyline?
I think Savage Dragon replaced him, but I never got to read the series, so I'm not sure. Anywho, they put it up on the technodrome!

How can the Savage Dragon replace Leo?! Sure, I like SD, but they couldn't substitute him for Leo. Grr...leaving out the fearless leader wasn't a good idea.

I often got the impression that Image were a little... um... arrogant...
Not just with the TMNT comics but with their whole attitude... I dunno maybe I just imagined it...

Ya, I feel that way too. After reading the letters section for the Image comics I have, the people who answer are so rude. I hope Mirage never comes near the guy responsible for that mess.
I liked the Image series...a lot...
I kinda liked it too, especially that they made Raph a Foot leader. (Fitting, since he was inadvertently responsible for starting the Foot Clan in the first place.) But I can see why some people don't like it. We all have different tastes.

Some bits... annoyed me at first, but after I didn't mind... Then other bits... I dunno... I think they went too far, until it bordered on the ridiculous....
But like you said, Kali, everyone likes different stuff. :grin:

Yeah... like how I'm one of the rare and few Cyborg Don fans. But at the same time, I'm not in favor of any of Image's titles. Eric Larsen comes off as a big SoB, and he even edits the fans letters to make them sound the way he wants them too.
I also had the chance to talk to Frank Fosco in 2000, and even he had the impression that most of the staff he worked with at Image were for the most part unpleasant.
Frank said they all rarely worked together as a team, and the communication with what they were doing in the storyline was bad too. Needless to say, Frank sounded glad he was not working with them anymore.
Then I found out he was the 'creator' of the Cyborg Don idea! Too bad Gary and the others didn't write enough story to back it up...

Ya, everyone's got their own likes and dislikes. Even though I'm not a big fan of the Image run, I will eventually get all of volume three comics because I'm a die hard turtleholic :razz:

I like the image version
many people didnt like that the turtles were all scared up
but if you think about it sooner in there life leo would of lost a hand
and the way raph is I was surprised he didnt lose somthing eariler
