Hi guys! Hot off my work bench and ready to share is my custom Baxter Stockman Figure. Baxter was made from a Doctor Octopus base. His head and wings were both sculpted from scratch. The wings attach to his back via high grade earth magnets and articulate in a swivel motion. Baxter's extra set of "fly" arms insert into his side using a simple peg and hole feature. I'd say the most challenging part about making this figure was sculpting the head, but I'm super happy with the results. I was able to sculpt a recessed tongue inside his mouth and with some clear gloss gel I really made it look wet inside his mouth. I'd love to know what you guys think. Thanks Kev

very cool man! i love how the flat colors really give baxter that "toon" look. i would have like to see a few black lines on him (like zipper flap on pants or where other parts of the cloting meet) but that is a very minor nit. this is still a great custom :)

Awesome!

I love the idea of a toon-based Baxterfly scuplt; always liked that goofy design, and you've done a great job capturing it.

thats very cool. The way you have him lit i thought he was a painting almost until i saw the Leo figure with him. must be the wings. very neat to see.
