I was surfing the web today when THIS came up.

Looks like a fan made game. The Title screen and character portraits look like something used in a Flash based game released around the time of TMNT Smash-Up.

Looks like the flash game Ubisoft had on their smash up page that you could attach to your own page or download. It ws titled Double Damage, and the sprites are exactly the same.

This can't be real, can it? Something about it appears... strange.

Um... no. The Foot look like their 2K3 selves... The SNES and Genesis were done way before the 2K3 show ever existed.

LOL, the Foot are the 2k3 Foot...why the hell would anyone think this is a SNES game?

Where the chicken poop are you blokes getting SNES from? The video doesn't mention SNES at all.

Jeez, it's obvious a home brewed game

That's just the flash game called TMNT: Double Damage. It's clearly not for those old systems since it features the 4Kids Foot Soldiers.

Well no not quite. It's got the sprites from Double Damage, but it's obviously a different game (go watch footage) and seems to be running on inferior hardware.

This looks horrible lol!
Why would anyone be concerned about this game?

I am always concerned with any sort of Turtles Game... even if this does look rather unpleasant I would be interested to know if it ever went anywhere.

It looks very unfinished and who knows it could have gotten a lot better!

Looks like an old flash game from the TMNT - Smash Up site. It's still kind of a mystery...

It arrived today. Case is much smaller than a regular Genesis game's. I'll get pics if and when I get time.

The game's pretty much unplayable. Everything's a super slow crawl like you're trying to play a brand new state-of-the-art PC game on Windows 3.1. It's likely that the game was developed specifically for emulators and utilized some of the extra kick you can draw from them.

Interesting. Even more interesting it almost took the entire damn month for the thing to arrive. Sounds fanmade to me, though.

Well it came from Estonia. And it actually showed up earlier that week but for some reason the delivery person couldn't follow my directions. Friday was just the day that I finally got it in my hands.

I didn't realize anyone was debating this at this point.

I'm dying to know more about this! How long is the game overall and are there an assortment of TMNT related bosses you fight?

To be perfectly honest it's slow to the point of being unplayable. I don't have the patience to play that long.

Bummer, hopefully you didn't spend too much on it then. I guess it's out of some extreme curiosity on the design aspects that I want to know how far this game actually goes.

I feel like the novelty of owning something like this was worth the price.
