Honestly! You don't believe me? Ever since me and Machias started it up a loooong time ago, almost every newbie who's joined up has received a mango as a welcome gift. Gifts make people happy! :anime:

I believe you, I'm just in one of my moods right now. Which means, I feel like being negative sometimes.
azure turtle
05-30-2002, 08:39 PM
Aww, why be so negative? We've gotta do something to reverse the effects and make you positive!

Actually, I was hoping to find some positively charged slime that JFreak once used at the UM forums. It made everyone happy! Though, I didn't enjoy it too much...I ended up hugging everyone :embarass:
Samantha

But that was why I liked it.

Bah, the slime was okay for a while, then we all got too friendly  But hey, it's great for cheering people up!

Oh no! EEKK! Luckily it's visit was very short (thanks to super edit/delete button) I'm learning!!

Nice save, dudette! Let's just hope that the evil shoe doesn't make an appearance. It's too scary to even think about it!

Well, okay. If you meant well, then I'm good to go.
LOL! Y'know, UM is pretty fun to hang around, too. You should visit sometime, Loolaa! As you can see, I drift from place to place. I just love message boards, especially the TMNT variety.

Sorry, didn't mean to make you feel out of the loop. In short, I'm torturing Azure again which I'm sure probably happened around here frequently as well (well with Kali around it probably does she's worse than I am!).

Hmph...everyone seems to like torturing me. I don't understand why. And it seems to happen to me at every message board I visit! No wait, it hasn't happened to me at Mikey's forums yet. I guess that's a good thing.

Yeah I can imagine that dissapearing in puffs of blue smoke can be hard work. Maybe a little taxing on the brain power.
I'd love to see it, though!

05-31-2002, 12:29 AM
LOL! I'd love to do it, but I only disappear when I'm making a grand exit from the forums! I may end up leaving in about ten minutes, though. I need to get some sleep. I've been averaging only 6 hours the past few nights. Not very good, I'll say...
Samantha
05-31-2002, 12:30 AM
OOOO! Nice, mango loving Azure wipped out a fan that sent innocent people with a fondness for bothering blue turtles flying all over the fourm? I never would have guessed. *heads over to Mikey's homepage* We can't let Azure get off without torturment!!

Scary... And I usually trail close behind you, Loolaa (since I respond int eh mroning at work).
Evil fans... piff! I'm more afriad of the eeeevil pop-ups at Mikey's forums! If it wasn't for those gnad things, I go there more often.
*sigh* You know, I would have been posting on Mikey's forums a long time ago, and I HAVE been reading, but when I tried signing up it said it needed my address. WHY?!?
HorseTechie
05-31-2002, 09:28 AM
You mean the Ezboards said it wanted your snail mail address, or email address? (suddenly realizes she forgot what the ezboard sign-up form looks like... it's been so long ago)
Snail mail. I'd have no problem with giving my e-mail, but I refuse to give my actual address unless it's absolutely necessary. They wanted the address, and I assume it was snail mail because they asked for city, state, ect. I just want to know WHY they need that!
Loolaa
05-31-2002, 12:52 PM
I don't remember the ezboard signup form either. I've no idea why they'd want addresses, though. It makes you suspicious as to why they want them.
HorseTechie
05-31-2002, 01:51 PM
why, the more they can sent you junk mail, of course!
Loolaa
05-31-2002, 02:21 PM
Wow.. it would cost them a fortune to send junk mail here though!
azure turtle
05-31-2002, 05:09 PM
Hmm...I don't remember the sign up forms either. But I do remember giving an address...lucky for me, I gave them the address to my dorm rather than my home.
Samantha
05-31-2002, 11:31 PM
Couldn't you just give them a fake address? (I'm evil like that)

Well I *never* give out my rl snail mail addy to anything I sign up for online. As I like to say, "It's not paranoia if it's true." But it isn't really the reason. These people get *paid* to sell off your personal details to people. It's why ppl get so much junk mail. And what annoys me is their so random and stupid. For instance my Amanda Mulder hotmail account, Obviously my name is Amanda and I'm female but I keep getting these emails, "Amanda, enlarge your *censor* 3 more inches" and "Amanda, we have the secret to pleasure your wife!" It'd be funny if it weren't so annoying.
I get enough trouble from giving out my email addy let alone my home address. In one day I got 444 new emails - all junk mail, all porn and all from the same person. Then there's the constant "I love you and don't want you to die!" emails. One day I'm gonna reply to them, "I love you too and I don't want you to die so STOP EMAILING ME!" Yeah you could say I need to vent. :ohwell:
Two posts in one day, I do believe we have a personal record...
azure turtle
06-01-2002, 07:39 PM
LOL! This is a pretty active place, Amanda! And I'm sorry to hear about your e-mail woes. Believe me, I get the same thing, which is why I signed up for a "dummy" e-mail account. Whenever I sign up for anything, I just give them the dummy e-mail address, so none of the spam gets to my real e-mail address.
I have one of those, except it never works. I get very little junk mail anyway. I guess I'm not worth spamming. *shrugs* It's just giving out my mailing address to complete strangers that I won't do. I'll give it to people I know if they're going to send me stuff, but that's it.
enigma-1
06-01-2002, 07:59 PM
Junk mail? Don't even bother opening it. Just click and delete. That's the simplest thing to do in my opinion.
Of course, but I have my inbox set up so it moves from message to message after I read/move/delete them.
enigma-1
06-01-2002, 08:04 PM
Can't do that with mine. My mother takes forever to read her e-mail and she gets really upset if you mess with it before she can.
azure turtle
06-01-2002, 08:06 PM
My e-mail service allows me to look at all the titles of the e-mails. I can usually tell when something is just junk by reading the title, so I delete it without bothering to open it. And any strange e-mails that come from unknown e-mail addresses usually get deleted too.
enigma-1
06-01-2002, 08:07 PM
*nods* Same here. We usually just get e-mail from family or ebay sellers. So don't know it, the thing gets deleted.
Anonymous
06-01-2002, 08:13 PM
Yeah I *should* set up a dummy email account and I've thought about it before but it's makes me mad I have to do that just so I can be left alone... And with some email places like hotmail, if you don't sign in every 30 days or so, your account is disabled and they say all the emails that get sent to you get sent back to the sender. That's the only good thing about that, the junk mailers become the junk mailees! *cackles like a maniac*
azure turtle
06-01-2002, 08:32 PM
 Woah, maybe I should get a Hotmail account!
Anonymous
06-01-2002, 08:58 PM
I like hotmail, it's more secure. That's important to me since I've gotten emails from hackers threatening me and I can track them and they know this.
azure turtle
06-01-2002, 11:09 PM
 Hackers? That's not very nice.
*despises anyone who uses their skills for evil*
enigma-1
06-02-2002, 04:01 PM
Then I guess I shouldn't introduce you to Tobi, Azure. She's kind of a hacker and sometimes uses those skills to get even with people. Though if you met some of the guys that treat her bad, you would see why.
Well, getting back at people is okay, it's called Karma.
HorseTechie
06-03-2002, 11:02 AM

Not with these guys. They're jerks and total creeps.
HorseTechie
06-03-2002, 07:48 PM
Yeah.. that's the sda thing. The only way to stop 'em is to lock 'em up.
enigma-1
06-03-2002, 07:50 PM
That or pound them into a senseless pulp. *growls* :flaming:
Sorry, just that guys like this have been really cruel to me and my friends, and I seriously do not like them.

HorseTechie
06-03-2002, 07:57 PM
But that's too easy. To quick and simple of a way to be rid fo them. Nah.. they should be tortured by being locked up in a plain, boring room that has no computer or phone, or TV.
Seriusly, I'm not bothered by anyone now. Never been bugged by a hacker/internet stalker either... but that sure sounds lke a bitch!
But I rather leave the dirty work to the cops (real or cyber). Then God will serve their sentence to be in hell for such heinous crimes. I don't want to wear my enemy's blood ... really, since revenge always goes round and round in a vicious circle.
enigma-1
06-03-2002, 08:06 PM
True, but you don't know Tobi. When she gets her hands on a computer, nothing is safe from her. So anyone that messes with her can just count on the trouble that they deserve.
HorseTechie
06-03-2002, 08:18 PM
Well.. isntead of making more crackers mad at her, she should become a cyber cop and bag em for goo then. *shrug*
enigma-1
06-03-2002, 08:26 PM
Weird as it sounds, I think she enjoys getting even with them by hacking. Tobi is my friend, but I never said that I understood her completely.
