I don't know what it will be offically called but in Toronto, a new development project around Lake Ontario will begin and in there will be a park near the lake (a turtle park that is) that's gonna be built in the area (devoted to turtles). it should be finished by 2005 so come down to toronto when's it's finished.

We're here on vacation because my doctor recommended it. He said I had high stress levels. I don't see why he would say that though. All I did was destroy a couple of cities and that was it.
Tinselcat
06-21-2002, 05:58 PM
yeah, it sounds like he's overreacting, enigma. i mean, it wasn't a country, just a couple cities. i don't see the big deal.
enigma-1
06-21-2002, 06:07 PM
Exactly. Besides, they were abandoned anyhow. Why should it make a big deal if I destroy them or not?
Tinselcat
06-21-2002, 07:35 PM
i think you should tell your therapist that he's overreacting. *scorpion clicks his claws* frank seems to agree.

Well... just imagine Venus, but then picture her without breasts but with more fleshed out arms/legs. Then put a horse head on her, and hoofs for feet. The hands are like the Turtles though. And then, I wear the face plate armor that jousting horses wear, my plastron looks metallic (like Cyborg Dons), I have metal guantlets on my arms, and a long metal armor plate over each knee and shin on each leg. The hoofs have a fancy metal shoes too. Oh, and I have green skin with... burgundy colored mane and tail. That work?

Hah... my thighs hate cheese cake!
But Kimchee is a popular Korean dish made of chinese cabbage (or Japanese radish), green onion, onion, garlic, lots of red chili powder, ginger, and shrimp brine. All that is mixed together and then packed in a jar to 'ferment' in the fridge a week or so. You can eat it right away, but like I said, it tastes a better after sitting around a bit to let all the favors mingle.
Oh.. there's even KimChee pizza! http://www.heco.com/CDA/default/0,1999,TCID%253D4%2526EmbedCID%253D0%2526CCID%253D 2731%2526LCID%253D2317%2526CTYP%253DRECP,00.html

Hah.. Brazil is always the top dog in the World Cup. ;)
You know... I think it's the user who decided if MAcs are better than PCs. I can see if the MAc is the only thing you first leanred how to use... that a PC would be a pain to figure out.
Me... I first learned on a PC, and had very little education on how to use a Mac... so whenever I'm stuck using a Mac at school... I get so mad cause I can't figure it out! Everything I want to do on a PC is totally different on a Mac. I don't even know how to clip and paste on a Mac, let alone save a picture I scanned in there. :(
Kingkapong

i find computer problems easier to fix on PC's than on Macs, especially hardware problems but MACs have the better capabilities. There's not a lot of good MAC games so i stick to PC's.
Loolaa
07-01-2002, 01:18 PM
Well, you know what I'm gonna say.... *pats her ancient bondai blue imac fondly*
I've used both quite a bit, using both pc's and macs at school, plus my mam owning a pc and me owning a mac.
I think they're pretty much six and two threes, because pc's are very convinient and you can always find stuff for them and download stuff for them. It's a little harder to obtiain stuff for a mac, like Kingkapong pointed out - games being one of them. (That's why we got the PS2)
But I find Windows very cluttered and annoying compared to the mac's OS, and though I can use pc's they disorentate me!
I'll always stick to macs, I think... *remind me of that in a years time when this old machine konks out and I have a limited budget...* ;)
Oh and HT, copy and paste is pretty much the same on a mac as it is on a pc... go to edit, click on copy or cut... etc etc...
Saving the same, too, I think........ just click on 'save as' in file.
I'll shut up now... as generally speaking I'm still not computer literate! :goofygri:

i just found out that there's a turtle treatment centre in my province and that there is a turtle club (not the one like in Master of Disguise) called "Turtle for Kids". It seems that the turtle population has been dropping in my province due to road kills (there are lots of highways located around turtle nesting spots) and now they are launching all these turtle stuff (this might be a reason why they are launching that turtle park project).
Kameko

Aw...poor turtles. Whenever I see a turtle in the road (I live, like WAY out in the country) I stop my car with the hazard lights blinking so no one will come through and hit it, and then I move it off the road and into the grass, where it'll be safe. And I might add that once they realize they're safe, they seriously haul shell. Who says turtles are slow?
