View Full Version : Who does this look like?

Kali
06-10-2002, 09:30 AM
Okay, I'm fighting with my brothers over this. I want your opinions. Take a look at this picture:
http://www.geocities.com/kaligargoyle/babies.jpg (remember to cut and paste)
And tell me who you think the little six-year old girl in pink looks like.

Skeletoncrew
06-10-2002, 12:00 PM
Looks like a little girl in pink to me. Sorry, doesn't ring any bells.

Loolaa
06-10-2002, 12:14 PM
Ummmmm... I don't know...

Why are you arguing?

Kali
06-10-2002, 12:19 PM
Well, it's not that important, just a pride thing, I guess. My brother says it looks like someone famous (a singer who is older now than the girl in the picture.)

Raph: You know someone's gonna say it.

Shut up, Raph.

Skeletoncrew
06-10-2002, 12:23 PM
Well, that would explain why I don't have a clue. I'm not up on current music stuff.

That said, David Bowie's new album, Heathen, is being released tomorrow!!!

Lady Artist Minotaur: *drool*

Skeletoncrew: Hey! You're not allowed here! This is a TMNT fansite not a Davidbowie site!

LAM: *Snorts and fingers the tip of one of her long sharp horns while staring down at Skeletoncrew.*

SC: Nevermind.

Tinselcat

azure turtle
06-10-2002, 03:57 PM
*blushes crimson*
Aww shucks...

Waitasec...did someone say humans?! AHHH! Wait for me, TC!

Hey! I happen to be human!

Curse my feeble imaginative skills

HorseTechie
06-10-2002, 04:31 PM
Uhmmm... she looks like 'Kali', when you were six! (at least you look like a girl... my bro and I looked an awful lot alike until we started into kindergarden!)

Okay, okay.. baby Britney Spears?

Gah, she said it! And you're right, of course, HT.

*pouts* My brothers tease me because all my little kid pictures resemble a young Britney Spears.

Thank god I grew out of it.

Samantha
06-10-2002, 08:48 PM
LOL! I've seen said to look like Shirley Temple with brown hair from the age of about 2-5ish. Weird. Very weird.

azure turtle
06-10-2002, 11:57 PM
Awww, but you're so cute!
Thank goodness I didn't look like a young britney spears!

Nunchucker
06-11-2002, 12:15 AM
I have been told I resemble Posh Spice.

How awful is that!

azure turtle
06-11-2002, 12:17 AM
Hey! Posh Spice is pretty...
*blushes a deep crimson*
Okay, I'll stop... :embarass:

Samantha
06-11-2002, 01:12 AM
Okay your turn Azure. Who did YOU look like when you were a kid?

Nunchucker
06-11-2002, 06:02 AM
Ooo Ooo I know! A Blueberry!

Just for the record I am nothing like that stick thin money loving airhead.

*Calms down while waving her 'down with Posh and Becks banner*

*tackles Azure and sits on him* Apologize, Blue Boy.

azure turtle
06-11-2002, 03:55 PM
Ouch! I am not your personal lawn chair!
*apologizes to the human mutant*
Now, if you please, I have things to do and people to see.

*apolgizes to the human Nun*
Now, I must rest...

Hey, now that you bring that up, did you read JFreak's article at UM about the similarities between Ghostbusters and TMNT? Very weird.

And Jet Li is cool! I can't wait for his next movie!

Skeletoncrew
06-12-2002, 06:46 PM
That GB/TMNT article is most amusing! Mmmm...Ghostbusters... Speaking of other favorites, Hot Topic now has some Secret of Nimh t-shirts.

azure turtle

Secret of Nimh!!!! I loved that movie! I watched it so many times as a young hatchling...now there's an animated classic no one should miss out on!

Loolaa

I wish we had a hot Topic over here. I looked on their web site but that wasn't much good.

Skeletoncrew

I'm not sure who made the movie either...it is one of my favorites though!

I know, I read it and thought "Does she know Azure?" *looks at the ceiling* Goodness knows I've had way too many of those "sessions". I still haven't found out who my secret admirer is in ATFT. I may make a new "part" to that in the RPG forum

Sorry, Azure. Here, let me make it up to you. *reaches over and gives Azure a quick kiss on the cheek*

Aw geez...
*gasps*
I just checked FF.net, and all the reviews I left last night haven't been posted! I think that website doesn't like me...

Kali

The review system seems to be down. NONE of the reviews are showing up. We're lucky we can upload our stories at all.

He blushed! *takes a gulp of her JD and coke*

Shyaa... no reviews there whatsoever now (unless you login in and check up the stats... which then shows very little change)

I used ta know Jazz (who wrote the Session and was a had-been Fic Archiver)... you think she's lurking about here and there now? *looks round*

I tried to leave a review on midnight snacks, but the dumb thing froze up. So, whoever it is writing that, since I've forgotten, I really like it!

Kali
06-27-2002, 05:37 PM
Tinselcat is writing it. You know, I think I'm going through review withdrawl.

Kameko
06-27-2002, 05:38 PM
Oh, duh, that's right. *feels really stupid now*

And I left so many reviews for all the fics I've missed out on since summer started! Cursed FF.net...I hope it gets fixed by the time I return. Or else...or else I'm not giving that website any more mangoes!
*shakes angry fist at FF.net*

Oops...I better not do that again.

Well I saw a nice review you did for my story, it was only posted a couple of days ago. Is that one of the ones you're talking about?

Your story was one of a handful that I reviewed a few days ago. I had a lot of time on late Wednesday night (or early Thursday morning...), but all of the reviews I left during that session never showed up.

 Thanks Azure, that reminds me, I really need to get writing the next chapter... I just haven't been in the mood lately.
I'm on a long train journey tomorrow so I'll write it then and I should have it posted soon.

You're going on a trip too? Well, I'll be gone for a week, starting tomorrow. I might get some writing done during the long drive. I hope you have fun! :D

I've cancelled my journey, so I'm not going 'till the end of July (when I get paid and actually have money :goofygri: )

Hope you have fun too, Azure!! :D

Yep, I had lots of fun! Ah...fishing was good, though I didn't catch anything. Everyone else seemed to have a lot of luck. Oh well. Maybe next year. :D Hey, I like everyone's new avatars!!

Loolaa

 Did you go on a fishing holiday!!?
I haven't fished since I was a kiddie.

azure turtle
07-07-2002, 04:37 PM
Yep! I was literally "Gone Fishing." Hmm...it was a lot of fun. My family likes to go on these fishing/camping trips almost every summer. It's a tradition ;) The cool thing is that it's my whole family...aunts, uncles, cousins...it's like having a giant army around.

Samantha

LOL! Sorta like a family reunion.

azure turtle
07-07-2002, 10:29 PM
Yup! A really big reunion! :embarass:

Loolaa

I wish my family would have a reunion.
It would be better than spending hundred of pounds travelling around the country to see them all seperatley. :(

azure turtle
07-09-2002, 12:34 AM
Aw, don't worry, Loolaa! You're not the only one. Not all of my family is in the United States. A lot of them are in other countries, and I've only got to visit some of them once. Yep, my clan is a scattered one.

Loolaa

I suppose I'm lucky mine are all in England, Scotland and Wales.... I only have one relation abroad. An uncle who lives in Australia and that's way too far!!
I'd love to go there!! :D

azure turtle
07-09-2002, 12:46 AM
I'd love to visit Australia! But there are a lot of scary snakes and crocs that live there...Then again, I watch way too much Croc Hunter. :)

i've got family all over the place, but i only know the ones in the US. anyone not from the states is probably a distant relative anyway. oh, speaking of distant relatives, i'm spending a week at the end of the summer at my cousin's place on the west coast, and i don't know if i'll be posting then. feel free to give me going away presents. :D

Kali
07-09-2002, 10:14 AM
Family reunion? We're scattered all over the U.S. and I'm GLAD! I don't want to see my immediate family, I sure as heck don't want to spend time with my extended family.

azure turtle
07-09-2002, 03:32 PM
LOL! Sounds like a fun trip, TC!
*gives TC a mango for her vacation*
Aww...I like my family...for the most part. Of course, spending more than a week with any of my family members will probably drive me insane, but I like seeing all of them every now and then.

Kali
07-09-2002, 05:58 PM
Considering that most members of my family are either drinkers, smokers, insane, or a combination of two or more of those traits... I'd rather stay home.

azure turtle
07-10-2002, 03:16 AM
Hmm....you've got a good point, Kali. Sorry to hear that. :(

Kali
07-10-2002, 12:29 PM
Yeah. Luckily, I only got the insane traits.

My families the exact same way. Ugh.
