Encoding Episodes?

Ok I've decided for the sake of all the TMNT fans around I will encode my existing TMNT eps and the ones I'll be getting from my video store onto my computer. They're all perfect quality with no subtitles unlike most of the eps you'll find on the net. I hope to have these up sometime after christmas. I'd like to here some specific episode requests so when I do encode them I'll be able to do the most wanted ones first.

wow where did all these people come from? when i advertised about my server on irc..suddenly all these people showed up. now its like 24 hours wait to download anything off my server haha. this comes at the same time a few other servers disappeared for some reason. we really need more servers over at #tmnt-files. so if youve got a fast cable connection or better and leave it on...maybe i will start up my priority queue again. we could really use some help. also if you have any of the following eps:

radixvir, do you know what would be really great? If you joined the Direct Connect hub I started. The more people in the hub sharing files, the easier it is for someone to get them. The hub address is listed in my sig.

Dudes I can't get any of these eps to encode correctly. I've been trying since last night. I have two eps I got from somewhere else though and thats Invasion Of The Punk Frogs and Beneath The Sewers. They have subs but they're still good. BTW just to name the new eps I got they are(names of episodes my not be right cause I'm taking them off the cases and they aren't the real episode names:

TMNT vs The Turtle Terminator

There's one more but the name isn't on the cover and I haven't watched it yet.
I'm still trying really hard to get these and my other 20 eps encoded as well as The TMNT Coming Out Of Their Shells Tour concert and Making Of special. :smile:

What kind of problems are you having?

What format are you encoding them in?

How are you getting them from tape to digital format?

I think it's just something wrong with the software. I'm putting them into Divx. I'm just new at this stuff so I'm getting a pal of mine to come over and help.

ive already tried the direct connect deal. it sucks. if the person who hosts the hub happens to turn off his computer, everyone is out of luck. mirc works for everyone. no passive or active modes. also using scripts you can have much more advanced servers. for instance i can place people on a priority queue. if anyone wants to setup a server on one of the tmnt channels on dalnet please message me for help.

OK. The problem with me is that I don't know how to run a mIRC server. Point me to some info and I'll take a look. If it turns out to be relatively simple for me, I'll take down the DC hub and host on mIRC. It would be nice to set a higher priority for board members.

I have an FSERV up on #tmnt-files and #tmnt_episodes, both on dalNet. Try that out. I only have about 7 episodes but I'm slowly getting them in.

Mike, if you ever get those eps encoded, I would gladly host them for you.

Sorry, it's not possible to set height and width using BBcode, and I disabled regular HTML because of the possible security risks. But what you could do is ask DarthRaphael to resize the pic to 160x116 and re-upload it to his webspace so that it would be the right size.

I'd like to know why the episode #05 doen't have the title screen. I mean from the clips that can be downloaded from mIRC. Does anyone has this episode (the one when Krang gains his robot body), and can send a picture with the title screen showing the name of it?
I would really like to see it. Because this ep has too many titles around the net...

I checked, and that episode doesn't have a title screen! I remember now that on the videos, they only have the title screen for the second episode, so the only way to know for sure what that episode's official title is would be if someone recorded it off TV...
