I've been looking around at some of the older characters and have seen that Slash has a different variation on his chest. One is a bright yellow and the other is a little bit darker yellow. Is one of the colors more valuable than the other when collecting him?

yes the lighter yellow chested version is more scarce. There are also belt variations with the purple belt red S being the most valuable, followed by the purple belt yellow S and then the regular black belt version.

The brighter yellow one is more valuable, yeah.

Is there a website or a book I can find that shows the different variations? Something that shows prices as well.

Maybe you could see how they price them on "myteefinestuff.com" or something? Or you could look at how they've sold on ebay. Not what they were ASKING but what they actually SOLD for. Often the two are very different. Regardless though, Slash is an awesome figure! Really well done.

I've been looking at looking at ebay for prices. But would like to know what variations are better to collect. I use to have every figure up in till 1995 and vehicles. I sold them all for $50 12years ago. Kicking myself now for not keeping them .

I got MOC SLASH with purple belt and yellow S for less than 30 € incl. shipping, recently.
Belly is not bright yellow, I think ?!

Did you try "myteefinestuff"? You can type that figure in and it will show you all the ones they have. You could get a good comparison that way.
