Holy ****. I won't deny this news has me tearing up a little, even if there is no confirmation of any Roger Waters involvement (which, frankly, I don't care about all that much because The Division Bell is God-tier.). So excited! Oh maaaaaaaan.

A new Floyd album?

Please, take my money now.

Looking forward to it and to the (hopefully) upcoming tour. Perhaps the first and last opportunity for me to see Gilmour live. And his wonderful new solo-interpretations of old Pink Floyd songs like Echoes, Time and Comfortably Numb. I will give a lot for that!

If Waters is involved, I am happy for the band as a whole. If not - do not care!

Edit: For the remaining band members 3/4

No tour, no Waters. Neither a surprise nor of concern to me.

I assume that he will go on tour once more. Probably with his solo project, which is in progress.

Hopefully, that would be nice. I got to see Waters in concert twice, & both shows were wonderful, but I've never seen Gilmour live.

My god, it really is happening. I'll definitely be picking it up when it's out.

Probably the right place to tell: anyone who is interested in detailed information about Gilmour, mainly through his equipment, but also to news like the new album:

As someone who adores The Division Bell & On An Island, I have this to say:

OH MY GOD YESSSSSSSS ;~;

The only downside, is that of the many tracks on this album, only one features vocals.

Also, the cover art & track list are now available-

So I just listened to this album today.

It's pretty good. IMO, it's no 'Wall' or 'Obscured', but it's certainly better than 'Ummagumma'.

8/10. 'Louder than Words' seals the deal very nicely.
