No way! Well that settles it, Megablocks has finally beaten Lego in my heart. After the awesome dragon sets they've been releasing this past year, and the really cool robots Megablocks was doing well, but this is pushing them over the edge.
It's kinda sad really. I've been a loyal lego enthusiasts for almost twenty years, and I've amassed several thousand dollars worth of Lego in that time, but in the last few years I really haven't enjoyed most of their products. Whereas, Megablocks has gone from being a side company that had bricks that wouldn't stay together, and instructions that made no sense what-so-ever, to being a well known and borderline succesful company.

Wow. That sort of came out of nowhere...
I say sort of because I remember back in 97 or so that there were some rumors about some sort of Ninja Turtles themed building block set. I don't know if there was any truth to that at all, if those rumors ended up being what we see here, or if it was just all made up, but it's interesting to see what the future held.

:( It HAD to be Mega Blocks. Damn. Why not the far superior Lego? Oh well, I'll get em' anyway and rebuild them with Lego.

Sorry, Eye of Sarnath, but I'm afraid that Lego is no longer superior to Megablocks as it was just a few years ago. Not only do Megablocks hold form just as well as Lego does (they improved the knobs to allow for better grip), but they are also beginning to take sales from Lego in the major markets of the world. Plus, they're cheaper.

But is there a Megablock land? I don't think so.
I never did understand a theme park made of Legos though....The rides must hurt the ass.

What the hell is Megablock? The ghetto rip off of Lego? Lego will alway rule the realm of building blocks and Lincoln Logs are even better than MegaCrap too. Don't get me wrong, however, I'm still gonna buy those TMNT things, just cuz they are TMNT. Har har.....

Believe what you want fellows, I was just stating a fact. Megablocks has been encroaching on Lego's sales for years, and they've done especially well these past two years.
I still love lego, my thousands of dollars of lego's proves that. I really, really, love Lego.

Actually they did, just not in the USA. I have a Party Van set of building blocks from Italy. The box also shows tha Turtle Lair and Turtle copter as well. I believe they were made by a company called Giochi Preziosi

*Jumps around like a giddy school girl*
Chibi Turtles!!!! :D
I'm definitly buying the Turtles, but I think I'll pass on the other two sets. I mean, why the hell is a Foot at a Skate park to begin with? And why the hell is there a Go-Kart with the other set? What, has Shredder's budget run low and the Foot's only getaway is a Go-Kart?

I think that go cart is supposed to be the sewer slider.

Oh.....okay, it kinda looks like it now that you mention it. But it still aint as good as the Battle Shell they have. (*Wonders if they are going to make any Casey Jones Mega Bloks or Baxter's factory*
