threezero, creators of high end 1/6 scale action figures have posted a teaser of upcoming products on Facebook.

Hopefully we see these figures at SDCC.

Here's their website for examples of their work.

Considering the dude who designed the new movie turtles hinted there would be some super detailed versions coming out in the future, I'm betting these are the guys behind 'em. While I do take issue with the designs in certain ways, I would have no problem buying toys of them that were accurate to the film. Playmates' are just dreadful.

Unless of course the comics mean just that- comic turtles. That'd be sweet too.

Though I'd reaaaally love some Henson turtles done in this style. :)

I Would love super detailed 2014 movie Turtles! it'd look just like the maquettes we saw earlier, but i wouldn't mind some Mirage Turtles!

Since it looks like Hot Toys is not picking up the property (sadly), this is a good compromise.

My hot topic no longer sells toys. Anyone else noticing this in their area.

HOT TOYS is in full Marvel mode haha. Yeah I'd be happy with ThreeZero making tmnt 1/6. Will be fun to see if both TZ and Mondo have protos at sdcc this year. Glad someone posted this news here too.

I think it's going to be really funny when people here start moaning and groaning about the price that these will fetch. Welcome to high end scale figures. $20 will just be a drop in the pan lololol

Be a miracle if these come in under $200, maybe even $250. Can't wait for reveals but I think these will be well out of my price range.

Hate to agree, but the playmantes 2014 movie turtles are really really bad.

I have a question. How come other companies(threezero, mondo, revoltek) are showing signs of being able to make ninja turtle figures other than Playmates? I thought the whole reason Neca could not continue making figures was due to exclusive licensing. Is Nickelodeon driving this?

Nobody is talking about Hot Topic.

That was true in 2008 when Mirage owned the turtles & Playmates ran a monopoly on the toy license. But now, they have to abide by Viacom, rather than putting Pete in a position of "all or nothing". Thank God. If only we could get rid of them altogether!

The fact they have a couple micro-series issues back there makes me hopefull they'll do an Alopex.

Yeah, that'd be a great way to launch the line - a figure of a forgettable minor character that only appeals to Furries...

Someone needs to start up a Kickstarter to get every Furry in the world chemically castrated or something. They're even worse than the f*cking French...

She'd have the turtles accompany her, right?

Wow! With these new Three Zero figures and Mondo, even if Sideshow shows off nothing, I'll be really excited for tonight and beyond for San Diego Comic-Con!

This is gonna hurt... my wallet! :tlol:

Fingers crossed they are classic Mirage style but 2014 looks could be good to. With the new trailers the film is really starting to grow on me.

Well the only info I see from that pic is that they have the IDW comics and the classic collection comics so I think they may do IDW type of turtles. I could be wrong. Unless they are extremely priced $300 ea or are extremely ugly, I'll get them. I have no ideanwhat edition they will do. I kind of think they do something different than Neca, playmates. They either do 2014 movie Ed., IDW styles, or 1990 movie turtles.

i have you know that some furries in the community actually raise money for sick children. stop that bad sterotype over a few badones in the fandom. yeesh.:tgrumble:

So, some furries do charity work? That's as maybe, but they're all still a bunch of disgusting freaks. Sh*t, I give money to charity and work with kids with learning difficulties, but that doesn't make me any less of an utter bastard...

I would hope that since the comics they threw in the teaser are a Mirage Collection and some IDW issues, that we'd get either a set of Mirage Turtles or IDW Comic Turtles (maybe based off of Duncan's design?). Not a fan of the new movie designs, so I hope that this super articulation isn't (in my opinion) wasted on designs I don't particularly care for.

I'll take both Mirage and IDW turtles in some form or another.

Agreed! I would love to have the IDW turtles. Ever since I started reading that series I have dreamed of a figure line. Wonder what artist they would go with for the designs? Duncan or Campbell would be sweet!

Do you have a link to that interview?

It wasn't an interview, it was a post he made on the drome somewhere in the movie section. You'd have to look through his posts to find it.

Oh man! These look good! So let's see, Prime 1 is making 22" 2014 movie statues, Threezero is making 1/6 scale statues, and then there is the exclusive resin (?) statue that comes with the new movie DVD Pre-orders? Anyone else?

I don't know if they'll be statues. That isn't threezero's thing. They might be using those as reference for figure sculpts.

I hope they make articulated ones.

Agreed. Oh well, time to take up customization to cook up an Alopex of my own. Shame they fell to the Bayndwagon (seriously, it's coming close to Lorax levels now). Maybe they'll make IDW stuff later?

According to their facebook page, they will be fully articulated with removable accessories and fabric clothing.
