With some generic action figures from the 2003 cartoon (with LED chest) I did these customs Slash cartoon 80s, two and one Cyber Kirby Kirbys
As always, I used mass epoxy, acrylic paint and matte varnish. AS weapons used a plastic basket and I based it on the Klingon weapons

Initially, I would leave all the metal parts in silver, but I thought it would be much like the MetalHead and decided to change to metallic green. Cables and wires that exist in his armor I'll include later ....Also took the liberty to include some details like the large bulges in the shell and the thorns around his neck. The shoulder I needed to do away from the trunk to not harm the arm movement. The colors of the bands I relied on a fan art I found on google.

And that was what I could do with my limited skills of custom. The belts that I decided to do in the Kirbys and Slash was because I wanted to give a sense to the leds. I did not want to strip them. I hope you enjoyed. :trolleye:

A fine use of those bootlegs. I like how you incorporated the lights into the sculpt and kept the screw holes accessible.

I love how your work always has a loud, in your face, feel to it whether it's a custom fig or a diorama. It's always big and colorful and never subtle, just like the original toy line. :)

Thanks. I like to use big contrasts. The figures become more vivid. Is better. Personally, I do not like pale colors or too dark. I prefer my toys actually look like toys.
