Well, life has been busy so it has been a pretty long time since my last custom. I’m happy to kick things off with a fan favorite. I wanted to have both of the duo done so I could show them together, but I haven’t even selected the parts I’ll need for Rocksteady yet and I’m too impatient to wait, so here’s his bro, Bebop!

This is modeled after the IDW version as seen in issue 39 which was illustrated by Mateus Santolouco. Bebop stands about 8” tall so he is in scale with the 6” Santolouco turtles I made. I’m very happy with how this guy turned out. Next to my Dan Duncan turtle, Bebop is the most accurate figure IDW figure I’ve made.

I used a pair of SF Guile legs, ML Wendigo upper body, and TMNT Classics Bebop hands. Most parts were heavily modified and the head is an original sculpt by me obviously. I’m going to start looking for parts for Rocksteady. Don’t know when I’ll get around to doing him, but he’s on my list.

If I was this talented, I would quit my job and do this full time! haha Another amazing custom by you. Love seeing your work! Do you cover the figure in a paint or is that sculpt? The figure on the right in the WIP pics is what I am referring to. Sorry if that is a dumb question, I am new to the custom world.

The head on the figure on the left with the camo pants would make a good Purple Dragon figure (John from the 2k3 cartoon, aka the unreleased figure).

Really can't belive why toy companies still don't hire like EVERYBODY doing customs in this forum. Great job on the scale and love the glasses.

With talent like this about it makes you wonder how some of the "pro" sculptors even keep or got their jobs!

GREAT work!

That's hilarious, I actually used that Guile for a Rocksteady a few years back (and Bebop was Charlie).
