Starting in 2015, Archie will be rebooted with a new #1 with Mark Waid as the writer and Fiona Staples as the artist.

Well uh that'll be interesting. Im not really keen on Archie being rebooted but I guess even I have to accept change. Good thing Life With Archie established a multi-verse.

As long as I can get the world's finest A#1 bathroom reading material, Archie digest, every month they can do whatever they want.

Didn't the Archie comics took place in the 1960s?

By rebooting it, They can make it work for the modern times.

Here's an image of the Art Style they going for.

They have modernized it a bit over the years with ongoing storylines and such. Just that there's never been a full on reboot. The numbering system has been going strong since the 40's!

More info with an interview by co-CEO Jerry Goldwater. Seems the first story will be a new origin for the Archie/Betty/Veronica triangle.

I like the art. Does anyone actually keep up with Archie? Did Archie decide over Betty or Veronica yet?

Y'know, I think that Archie Andrews chooses to be indecisive between B & V. Heck, I think he has even dated Cheryl Blossom on ocassion and spurned the jealously of both Betty and Veronica.

I honestly wonder how this series is still going. What kids from the 2000's grew up reading Archie?

Archie isn't something you follow. I was joking in my above post. It's a comic that you read when you're bored, or like Peanut said, on the toliet. You can reuse stories and no one will notice.

Depends on the earth. On one earth he married Veronica, on another he married Betty. Due to a now established multi-verse (there was even a COIE event in the Life With Archie Married Life book!!) it doesn't really matter who he chooses. In the main book he dumped em both and has been dating Valerie from Josie and the Pussycats for a couple years. Betty's been dating Valerie's brother.
