Yet another good sign that DVD releases might eventually be coming.

It's nice to see this show resurfacing. There for a while I was afraid it had been buried.

Nick spent $10 million alone on buying the 2k3 series from 4kids. The people who thought they wouldn't do anything with the series had no clue how business works. Like Nick was really going to throw $10 million dollars down the drain as a loss without trying to re-sell a product they purchased.

As I said, they waited until after the Nick cartoon was a success before going back to old stuff. Its common sense, and business 101.

Some people just need to be educated on the subject matter.

Heh. Davetello's new avatar pretty much expressed it for me.

This answered my question from... what I posted in the 2k3 topic, I believe. I shall watch each episode. Twice!!

Sweet! Looks like they will be streaming at least 20 episode for a start. This is the description they put up at the Nick site:

It's really welcoming news that Nick wants "kids today" to get-to-know the past series of the franchise as well. By quoting FOUR versions I guess they included TNM as well, although it's a little inaccurate to say that the series has been around since 1984 (first series started in 1987, only the comic started in 1984)

Also, "shell-ebrated" :tlol:

but I hope to see 2k3 merch resurface. New toys, shirts, ect. I'd be all over that. Great news here. I think I'm gonna watch through this whole series again now. I'm inspired lol

Wouldn't it be amazing if Playmates did a rerelease of the 2003 toy line similar to what they did for the original toys?

On a side note, I'm on my iPad and the episodes don't play for me.

(Yes, I've been on my iPad this whole time and YouTube is my only source!)

It just redirects me to nick.com. Where do I go from the main page? Cos I can get that far. Linking there directly doesn't seem to work for me.

It's like I live in a parallel universe where this page doesn't exist. :P

Oh yeah, after installing Hola, you'll need to visit the page once, click the Hola logo and switch the region to US, and then revisit the page again.

Got it working by pasting the link into my address bar, then asking Hola to "fix it" when it didn't load properly. That seemed to work. :P

This really is awesome. I think Cubed said it best:

Fingers crossed seasons 3-7 & TF get the same treatment.

I wouldn't keep my hopes up as if this is a sign this will be on DVD any time soon. I've been keeping my hopes up for almost a decade so until i hear some kind of news then I would. Either way, i still have the entire set on dvd so i'm set :D

I mean i thought for sure way back then Turtles Forever UNCUT would be a US release but that never happened. (I have the overseas version of that too).

Episodes 2-14 were taken down in the past couple of days. It just skips from episode 1 to episode 15.

I noticed the Throwback Turtles (http://www.nick.com/throwback-turtles/) page has a limit of streaming only 20 episodes at a time. They have now streamed all the way to the end of Season 2, but only episode 8-26 of Season 2 are active now. Season 1 episode 1 seems to be always available though.

So season 1 is gone +Turtles in Space and parts 1+2 of Secret Origins.
