I got Justice League of America#116 in the mail today to complete my goal of a run of #100-232,238-240,250 and Annuals#1-3. Of these 140 issues what storylines or moments or characters did you all enjoy in this classic run? Some of it is cheesy, some of it is pure fun, some of it is intense, it is the Justice League Satellite Era! Another run or so I find to be interesting reads but this is my favorite Justice League group. Thoughts?

This is a cover gallery of the whole 261 issue volume from which my 140 issue run comes from.

I don't get it, why is there no Batman on the right side along with the "Golden Age" Superman, Wonder Woman and Robin?

The image above is after Batman of Earth-2 was murdered by a super powered criminal when he had to come out of retirement to stop the thug. It is supposed to add fuel to Helena Wayne/Huntress as a new generation crime fighter. Bruce got a happy ending retiring and having Dick take his place but as Robin opposed to Batman only updating his costume to mirror Batman. Yet even on a lighter toned Earth his happy ending could not last witnessing the death of his wife Selina right before his eyes just a couple of year before his own demise in battle.

I picked this up at a Toy and Hobby Show today for a great deal. It pre-dates the Satellite Era by about ten issues, but I was wondering if anyone else collected volume one of Justice League of America that ran from September of 1960 to April of 1987.
I have a set from #100-236,240,250 and all three annuals.
