This is still a work in progress, and I know it's a little odd being just one of the turtles but Don was my favorite in the 80s-90s and when my son started getting into tmnt I decided i wanted to start collecting my favorite turtle in sealed packaging. I have the majority of all the figures released through 94 loose with most accessories that I played with as a kid. Now my son gets to play with my old figures along with all the new stuff he has.

First here is where I keep my figures stored. My collection doesn't work with our house design so the extra bedroom set we have holds my figures in the unfinished portion of our basement. Everything is moc/misb besides the blind box vinyls

I didn't want to spread out too much so I broke pictures down per drawer. Each drawer is somewhat together with similar items but as my collection grows I've began to fit figures where they will best fit. Starting onto the 2nd dresser now that this one is full

My kids playroom with his turtles taking up most the space. Luckily my daughter is only 2 months old so she hasn't need her space yet.http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e305/Bkessler1/image-8.jpg

He loves this thing. Favorite Christmas gift this year.

And lastly not turtle related but my other toy collection are the lego architecture series sets. I have a couple left to buy but the majority are displayed. These do fit with my wife's basement design so they are displayed.

Impressive! I respect your dedication to the character. Myself, there's no way I could do just one turtle. :trazz: My art collection has a secondary series of Leonardo's done by multiple artists, but I didn't go for that until I had gotten all of the other primary characters taken care of first. One turtle without the rest just feels wrong to me otherwise, when it comes to my personal tastes. But yeah, this is really rad, it displays wonderfully with all the purples coming together.

Impressive Donatello collection! Very unique to only collect one turtle. I could probably not have that level of discipline.

I do have a decent chunk of other moc figures that I have bought in lots to get specific Dons I needed.

Once I get a few more of the earlier Dons I'm missing(cloth undercover, winged warrior, super mutant, dwarf, spike n volley, delta, talking, and the giant original, giant movie and giant basketball dons) I'll move on to the original vehicles that I had as a kid. I may then go to adding in better collections of the other 3.

I try to wait for good deals on each figure and if I collected everything at once I would be spreading my attention to thin on watching for each figure at the right price and my wife would really want to kill me. I have only been putting this collection together for a few months. Started working on it in September of last year.

Sweet collection man, it's looks really good to see a one Turtle collection!
My very first turtle figure was an '87 Donatello.

I'm a Raph nut myself but I do intend to buy all 4 turtles, except when I'm buying one item just for fun (like a plushe) then I'll always go for Raph.

And a few more new additions. Deal on a cloth undercover Don fell through which I'm a bit disappointed about. But some new ones I'm pretty happy with

From one Donnie fan to obviously another:

I am SOOOOO drooling over your collection. Just wow. It's WAYYY bigger than I ever had/have or even imagined. You are God to me lol! :P

Even have a Donnie Troll doll. I had one when I was little and my father made me give him away (much like a lot of my TMNT toys back then). What I'd give to have some of that stuff back.

Since it seems Donnie is being deprived of a lot of the toy releases now, looks like it will be my duty to go back and try and get every little Don thing I can get my hands on. And even duplicates, so I can display some of them out of the box. (I've kept everything I have thus far in the boxes)

But wicked awesome Donnie collection! Ever wanna chat with another Don fan, feel free to hit me up! :)

Awesome to see!! Donnie is my fav too, but I don't have much room for figures anymore so I started on art.
But damn, love your figures. Good luck on getting another undercover Don!

Thanks everyone! It has certainly transformed from me telling my wife I was buying a couple from when I was a kid to me contemplating an attempt to have an absolutely complete collection. Right now I'm at a bit of a cross roads with if I continue or scale this back down to my initial plan. I have the attention span similar to a kitten on crack. I have amassed this collection in about 7 months scouring the net for everything I could find at the right price. I seriously have bids on 100s of figures a month hoping at least a few slip through the cracks and go cheap.

The collection may go up for sale if I can't get this new real estate project flipped in the next couple weeks. Trying to pay back a 100k loan from my 401k before my tax extension runs out and I'm stuck with a huge bill. May liquidate a lot of my toys and a car or 2 to pay this back in time. But that's life as an investor. Glad everyone enjoys the collection and if I do sale I'll post here before I go to ebay. As of now if anyone is interested in anything I'll entertain offers.

Makes me wish my settlement for my injury case would come in already. Cause once I take care of the bills and such I need to on my end (and get some teeth that need some major work on-and possibly getting myself a puppy heh), I'd SERIOUSLY would take you up on your offer and probably buy several things from your collection!

Sorry that you're having to wind up selling off some things, but we know how that is, life. If I needed desperate cash, I'd be selling my stuff off as well just like you. So I hope things end up going well for you. If the universes align and you're selling around the time I come into some cash flow, I'll definitely keep my eye open on this thread for sure.

EDIT: Yeah, looking over your pics of your collection again, I could seriously hurt myself for the amount of Donnie stuff you have that I wish I had. I bought the re-release of the old Donnie figure that Nick did, but I'd seriously want my hands on an original, old school, Don figure. I'd want that Donnie troll, all your little special Don figures (especially that metallic one-been wanting that one for a long time), don't even have Mystic Don yet, haven't found any of the T-Machines Don, there are a few old school figures I had at one time, but had to get rid of when I was a little girl.

Just yeah, may be a tad obsessed lol. I could seriously just hurt myself and have such a field day with your collection lol :p
