Hi all! I have been creating a custom TMNT lair using three of the original play sets. I have created walls with brick printed on them with foam poster board. The floors are all made out of cork to give it a dirt floor appearance. There are three of the large rooms and two of the small rooms. The large rooms are the living room, the kitchen and a training room/Donnie's lab. The small rooms are undecided yet, with one leading to the Party Wagon and the other is on the opposite side of the kitchen. On the surface, I am making a building to put on top as a backdrop with a rooftop display. I will post photos under this description to show my progress.

thats kind of a neat idea... love the idea with the cork, if i ever do get around to making a custom sewer for displaying my figures (which would require a lot more space then my current house has) i'm totally stealing that lol...

That's a pretty clever way of using the pieces of the vintage lair to build seperate spaces.

Just curious, are you going to remove or alter the sticker backgrounds in the "doorways"?

Huzzah, the brick covers the walls so the sticker backgrounds will not be seen.

So I have finished the screens for Donnie's lab and surveillance system. The couch is being worked on as I have bought two from eBay that are too big or too small so I decided to build my own using instructions I found online.

The blue couch from the TMNT 2003's sewer playset would work as well.

I have put in the kitchen furniture so you all can see how it'll look. The couch is going to be upholstered and the taped box up top is a dumpster! The dumpster has no bottom....secret way into the lair. I will put up a picture of it next week once the dumpster is painted and has a top.8712

The dumpster I actually took blue painter's tape and wrapped it in the tape. The cover is going to be the same, just with electrical tape.

Hey all! I am posting the pictures after about a month of all of the turtles in different areas of my lair/rooftop scene! I found different items to use for various things, as well as picked up accessories at Hobby Lobby! I have to find a way to cover up that square above the kitchen, any ideas???

Since the home isn't really super visible from the side, you could always find those thin sheets of wood in the Hobby Lobby craft area or something like two old, expired gift cards or some type on rectangular, hard plastic. Paint them a metallic color, and it could pass as a patch over cement. Think about road work that you've seen done and how they often use metal to patch pot holes.

Truthfully though having the hole allows light into the room.

That made me have a chuckle if we used metal to patch potholes in Canada there would be a shortage not seen since the WW2.
Love the work you have done on your lair. I am jealous I have none.
