I really enjoyed the whole TiT series and thought the samurai turtles were especially cool.
i used a 2007 movie turtle and heavily modified it :)

Raph's face looks a bit more Jim Lawson-ish than like Williams' art, but it's otherwise really solid work. Overall, a great job!

yes, their faces are similar, if you look at some of the references in the comic, you can see that my figure does look a lot like CPWIII's art (maybe not perfectly) but if you didnt have a point of ref, most people probably would assume it's a jim lawson style figure. thanks for the feedback bro, appreciate it!

Very nice!! I'd buy that for my collection.

If you don't mind me asking what colors did you use for the skin, bandana and I know not on this turtle but I've seen on others their chest.

most of the time i mix my own colors to try and match my reference. the skin is usually a combo of army green with white to lighten it or blue to darken it. the plastron is usually a mixture of yellow, brown/tan, orange, and white. the mask is one of the few things i just use a straight color out of the bottle; in this case it's just a traditional red (any brand).

Thanks for the info. I've found a decent combination to make green for a few of my repaints but I really love the look of this turtle and your jim lawson one. I'd kind of like to recreate it the colors for my first custom sculpt.
