Hey guys, its that time again. This time around we will be redesigning the Neutrinos from Dimension X.

[SPOILER]All people who choose to participate will have two weeks to come up with a redesign for the given character. You can use any medium you wish. You can sketch, paint make a 3-D model, make a sprite, make a custom action figure, whatever you want. Its entirely up to you!

As well, you don't have to force yourself to make your design conform to any new or old cartoon or comic book's style. Be as drastic in your redesign as you see fit. Whatever makes you happy.

If you can't think of a new design, or just hate the idea of working on this character, you do not have to feel obligated to participate in this particular challenge. You will still be free to participate in any future challenges you wish./SPOILER]

[SPOILER]Neutrinos are a race of extra-dimensional humanoid aliens from Dimension X. These characters were invented for the 1987 animated series and first appeared in the episode "Hot Rodding Teenagers from Dimension X". They're easily identified by their pointy ears and crazy hairstyles.

In the new IDW Comics, the Neutrinos are once again an alien race in Dimension X revolting against Krang and his Rock Soldiers. This continuity's version of Professor Honeycutt is a Neutrino who sacrificed his mortal body to escape to Earth in order to find help against Krang./SPOILER]

The contest will end in on April 30th. Good luck everyone and I apologize for the long delay.

My attempt is admittedly super lazy & very silly, as I've never been a big fan of these guys. Usually I take these things pretty seriously, but this was just a doodle session. :trazz:
Curious to see what others come up with.

I got an idea during my Physics class. I'll try and post it by Monday...

This is sort of obvious idea I guess, and it makes both sense and no sense at the same time. Teenage Krang-type brains from Dimension-X seems like fun.

Like others I haven’t put too much effort into the redesign this time, mainly due to time constraints my end.

Unlike the Shredder redesign where I did about 10 attempts before I was somewhat happy with my design, with the Neutrinos I have just done a one shot attempt, and I will admit it’s not perfect!

Not necessarily a re-design as they are basically the OT Neutrinos, however I have re-imagined them as a band…

If I had the time to refine the concept I would have made the front of the drum kit visible as I wanted a Strokes-style logo, but this concept layout ended up with it being covered. Also the speaker top right annoys me as it is “floating” lol. I would probably also made the refined version more focused so the Neutrinos were larger and more central in the piece. Also I just noticed the drummers arms are f***ed! Never mind.

Picture taken with my iPhone instead of scanned, again due to time restraints (scanner at work).

Hope you all enjoy, it’s nice to beef out the entries for this one as it seems slim on the ground this time around.

Cheers, Piddy.

Dang. ProactiveMan would get my vote. Will there even be a poll? There is only 3!
