How do you change the title underneath your profile name?

In a thread, each user has a title underneath their profile. Mine currently says "Mad Scientist." Can this be changed? Because I see other users with clearly custom chosen titles like "shipper trash", "Try Harder" and "I know Quack-Fu". :P

you need about 1,500 posts, In order to be able to change the Custom User Title.

You currently have 1,015, So it'll be a while til you get 1,500.

You also have to be a member for at least a year before you can make the change.
