Seems a new Tremors tv series is in the works...starring the original star that started it all... Kevin Bacon!!

Universal Cable Productions and Blumhouse Productions are said to be working together to revive the franchise, which started with a cult film about giant, tunneling worms. The franchise continued through a series of direct-to-video sequels and a previous 13-episode TV series.

Bacon starred in the original film, and is returning to the franchise after 25 years. He’ll reprise his role as Valentine McKee, who returns to the town of Perfection, Nevada.

Whoa, that's pretty cool. This isn't the first Tremors TV series they've done... they're not going to leave Burt out of this, though, are they?

Awesome. I have not seen part 5 yet.

TV cgi is better now so that'll help. Before the monsters were seen sparingly per episode.

Kevin Bacon has been very vocal about wanting to reprise his role. i was hoping it'd be in a 6th movie but this might be better.

the 5th was fantasic! and with Kevin backing this series they should have more creative say. Syfy wanted them to do a monster of the week type deal and it ruined the potential of the series.

That's a shame. My dad would have loved it. (Though he passed away 9 days before it was announced...)
