Posted this elsewhere, but it really needed a mention in this section too :)

...for those interested, I have good news. As part of a larger documentary on video game box art being released in 2018, the esteemed gentleman in question has agreed to participate. The plan is for him to be included in and interviewed as part of the documentary. I was asked to help on the documentary and will be credited as a producer.

Still one of the great pieces of turtle art anywhere!

Looks like fun. I love classic game box art. And so much of it is anonymous. Is this one of those "wait till the movie to learn the artist's identity" scenarios?

Of course it is. He's been taunting us about it since his first post on the boards.

I mentioned a little more here http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/showthread.php?p=1526210#post1526210

There may or may not be some discussion of identities in the initial promotion of the move (spring 2017?). I'm not in control of that part.

So, what this project means is that in 2018 maybe 2017, we're finally getting to know the artist's name that you've been flaunting and dangling like a carrot in front of people to know the identity off, but refused to give out way back in early 2014.

While it's nice that the artists can get some recognition. But, with you as producer it kinda gives a bad taste to honest.

The artist's name is listed on the Kickstarter campaign--Tom duBois

Cool to see that they hit their Kickstarter goal! Looking forward to the doc.

What a journey googling his name. If it's the same guy, he mostly does christian themed paintings and then suddenly a spiffy space marine blasting some fools.
