Hey guys, didn't someone called Tokka have an entire flickr account full of official 4Kids character art, spanning pretty much every single character design for all seven seasons and Turtles forever?

I'm having a hard time finding it again; if somebody could point me to it, it'd be much appreciated. :tsmile:

tOkka did an awesome job, I don't think he missed anything.

The 4Kids blog team was really great... I remember they even posted soundtrack samples.

I'd love to dig around the Nickelodeon archives and dig up even more material from this show.

So where did he get all that material?

I'd love to buy a book on the 4Kids TMNT art; that would be pretty sweet. Never happened and never will, so I guess this will do. :tlol:

I'm still not done looking through all the pages, but it's still an incredible treat. What a saving grace that they didn't go for the rough designs. Not just for the turtles, but Casey, who almost seemed to have some baby face going on.

But...was it normal for them to reuse designs so blatantly like this?

This is some My Little Pony grade recoloring there, and so far, I haven't seen any others like that one. It's pretty jarring...especially since the tone changes in the second one are so "yuck".

For background characters who were on the screen no more than, say, 10 seconds at most, it doesn't bother me at all.

Isn't that where recolors are usually used anyway?

I just wonder how those particular two ended up on the board and not any others. Maybe because that was the only one available?

Not sure.

However, what I want to know is: where were those Zombie Utrom designs going to be used? Because those were NEVER used in any produced episode. I'd definitely remember those. :teek:

They were in Same as it Never Was briefly. I know that for sure, but not quite used like they were in the designs. Which is a beaver house shame.
(Oh, to swear like a third grader...)

Really? I gotta go back and watch that, apparently... :teek:

They were barely there. Mostly establishing shots.

They're there before the theme song plays, when Shredder is giving his monologue.

The Utrominators were there for like three seconds at most and somehow made it into the Smash-Up video game. :P
